Travelled for a weekend away and booked here. For the most part it was tolerable. I upgraded to a suite with a pool view when I arrived. Mistake as they start blasting music at 9 am when the pool opens and you can hear the entire song inside your room with ac running. It made for rest during the day hard to do. Going back to my arrival while in the Taxi I got the smell of sewage and the Taxi driver explained this smell is always there. It’s literally by hotel drop off. Even worse is that the smell will get into the casino by the promenade area. It smells like rotting debri. I would have said maybe a one off but the taxi driver stated it’s always there. The room was nice minus some of the walls had grunge on them. A mini fridge was in the room but no microwave to even warm up food. Lastly you would think for a hotel that the water would be hot all the time. Or even warm. But not once but 3 times that I showered there was barely warm water. 3 am or 6 am shouldn’t matter the water should be hot. The staff were friendly but I didn’t interact much with them. The Mexican restaurant had good food but the two sweet evening staff made my night. Casino cleanliness was decent but traveling between other casinos I would say they could improve compared to local competition in the same “block” area. Overall it was disappointing for a Las Vegas hotel.

We love, love, love the 1 hotel in Miami. The facilities are immaculate, the staff are accommodating and friendly, we’ve always had a gorgeous room when we’ve been there. We had a very small issue with our showerhead- my husband reached out to the concierge and it was fixed immediately while we were at dinner. I had a great, very relaxing prenatal massage and enjoyed meals at all of the restaurants on the premises. If you’re in Miami and want to be on the beach in the lap of luxury, go to 1 hotel!

Air conditioner had small buttons with tiny labels. Tried to turn it on for quite a while with no success. Fortunately, it was only a little warm in the room. At 5am it suddenly came on, waking me up. Also, the remote desk clerk was busy when I wanted to check out and I had to leave a voicemail to check out. Weird.

A good place for a short stay. The staff is very friendly. Room was clean and they welcomed our Shih Tzu. It is definitely more of a motel environment and the property is old and undergoing some renovations. If you have loud neighbors, you’ll have to sleep with an extra pillow over your head.
