Great location, but the amenities and service need significant improvement. The location of this hotel is excellent—it is conveniently situated near the airport and hospital, and within easy walking distance of downtown shops and harbor areas. Additionally, the adjacent restaurant, The Mean Queen, serves a fantastic breakfast, which was a highlight given that the hotel's on-site food options are extremely limited and consist only of a small seating area without a full kitchen or bar. While our room was clean and the mini-fridge worked well, several major maintenance and service issues impacted our stay. The room lacked a shower curtain, and a rusty, awkward handicap safety rail sat directly over the toilet lid, making the toilet unusable while open. Neither television in the room functioned. When we asked the front desk staff about the issue, both the day and night shifts simply pointed to a faded sign on the desk without offering any explanation or assistance. Furthermore, arriving after midnight due to flight delays, we were disappointed to find no bottled water or basic refreshments available. While the location is ideal, the hotel requires maintenance updates and a stronger focus on customer service.

Simple, older hotel in Sitka. Clean, fairly comfortable room but only a queen size bed which is a little tight for two.
