I am so glad we chose Dar les Cigognes for our four night stay in Marakech. We loved everything about it. The riad itself is so beautiful; peaceful, restful and cool. The roof terasse is a wonderful place to relax and take coffee and meals. The rooms are very well equipped with lovely big, comfy beds. The locationis perfect, just outside the city walls, with every attraction within easy walking distance. Special mention goes to the staff:Hayst, the Manager, and Hajiba the Concierge are so warm and welcoming and genuinely enjoy making sure that your stay in Marakech is a delightful as possible. They are supremely knowledgable about all thr local attractions and will arrange cars or taxis for any and all necessary transfers or excursions. Our waiter was Abdo and he was soattentive and caring and sweet. Which brings me to the food: it really is the best we found in Marakech - honestly I would recommend esting exclusively at the riad, as the quality and setting is unsurpassed in the city.
My wife and I also enjoyed a vigorous and rejuvenating hammam bath, expertly applied by Amina, who was as lovely as all the team in the riad.
I have travelled very extensively over decades and can honestly say I have never enjoyed a property and hospitality so much as I have here - if you are planning a stsy in Marakech you MUST stay at Dar les Cigognes.

Our stay at Palais des Princesses was the perfect start to our Marrakech holiday. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and always happy to help with recommendations or anything we needed. The riad itself is absolutely beautiful, with stunning traditional Moroccan architecture, peaceful courtyards, a gorgeous rooftop terrace and a lovely pool that was the perfect temperature to cool down in after a busy day exploring the city. Our room was exceptional – spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with excellent air conditioning, a mini fridge and a smart TV, making it a great place to relax after long days sightseeing. Despite being only a two-minute walk from Jemaa el-Fnaa and the heart of the Medina, the riad was incredibly peaceful and quiet, providing a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle outside. The location really couldn’t have been better, allowing us to walk to all the main attractions while enjoying the tranquillity of the riad whenever we returned. Exceptional value for money, outstanding hospitality and a truly authentic Moroccan experience. We would highly recommend Palais des Princesses to anyone visiting Marrakech and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Un véritable havre de paix.
La résidence est magnifique, paisible et très bien entretenue. Les jardins sont sublimes.
Notre premier réveil a été une véritable déconnexion. Le petit-déjeuner, copieux, au bord de la piscine, dans une ambiance dépaysante et un cadre luxuriant : fabuleux. La visite de nos amis les chats, de quelques lézards et le chant des oiseaux sont un véritable plus. Ils apportent une douce animation et de la vie dans ce cadre si paisible. (Prenez soin d'eux, ils le méritent! Le Maroc a une vision de la cause animale qui ne me sied pas).
Nous avons eu la chance de pouvoir profiter de la piscine seuls à plusieurs reprises : quel bonheur !
Les chambres sont idéalement situées au centre de la résidence. Elles sont spacieuses et décorées avec soin, dans un subtil mélange de modernité alliée à la pure tradition marocaine. En réservant, j'espérais tomber sur la chambre "Blue", dont la décoration semblait me plaire le plus, et par chance, ce fut le cas.
Un immense merci à toute l'équipe, qui a été réactive, professionnelle et attentionnée tout au long du séjour. Le service de sécurité est poli et discret.
Merci à SOFIA, souriante, discrète et d'une grande bienveillance.
Merci à NAJAT, une perle rare, passionnée par la cause animale (comme nous), d'une extrême gentillesse. Massages et soins réalisés avec professionnalisme. Notre coup de coeur !
