Vidzeme Romantic Vacations

The hotel has been recently renovated. We had a traditional american style king bed. They cleaned the room each day when we asked. We stayed 4 nights and really liked the hotel. They don't have parking so you need to find parking elsewhere but there are garages nearby. We didn't do the breakfast as it was fancy and expensive. We would certainly stay again. Sometimes it was loud from the nearby tram. Bathroom was good. Things were very clean.

The staff was really helpful and friendly.

The staff were fabulous and the highlight of this hotel, beautiful historic property in a great location Bed was comfortable, breakfast had great and plentiful options. Washroom was horrible. Shower /bathtub was so thin a hairbrush barely fits in the width of it at the front. Had to shower sideways. Handheld clip broken so needed to lay it on the floor of the tub to wash then pick it up after. Large faucet/handheld/rainfall shower head multifunction controls confusing to use.

solveiga at front desk efficient friendly helpful

The breakfast was excellent.I like kids menu Its new. Also, staff was so friendly and answers all asking questions I highly recommend this hotel for relaxing things and great service

Elisabete was training on front desk for check in and check out and did a great job! Back exit for a quick route to the old town, buses right in front, and close to the central market and huge shopping centres. I had one of the older rooms but it was clean and comfortable. The layout of the hotel means you can hear inconsiderate people in the corridors, nothing the hotel can do and luck of the draw. 2 of my 3 nights were peaceful! Breakfast has a small but good selection and takeaway cups for coffee, great for an early airport start. You could also get breakfast-to-go though I didn’t try this.

The staff was really helpful and friendly.
