I’m not a “post a picture of the room” kinda guy, but this is an exceptional room for Boracay. Spacious and well appointed with a safe, refrigerator, water (not your usual bottled water either, fancy glass bottled water), double vanity, private toilet and private shower separate from the vanities (you’re not subjected to watching your loved ones shower or use the toilet ), lots and lots of drawers and closet space! There’s plenty of sitting room so you’re not cooped up in bed watching the TV and a substantial work area, I hope that it never gets used by anyone! Oh, and the AC is so cold that Elsa could build a snowman! You would expect a review like this if the room were complimentary, but I assure you that we paid, and I’m still gushing about the room!
The staff are so helpful and nice all around. From the staff at the breakfast buffet with plenty of selections to the helpful housekeeping staff who are always ready with a beach towel exchange or whatever you may need, like slippers, always courteous and smiling.
It was raining on the day that we checked out (island life) and I was very happy with the round trip airport to hotel transfers! On a rainy day, we were escorted from the hotel to a private van to a private water taxi owned by the resort, so our departure was customized for us, not some other random schedule! The same hotel staff followed us all the way and took care that we had umbrellas and our luggage was carefully attended to.
Highly recommend this property!

The property was a little old but really clean. The staff were amazing. The food was very good. And the location was perfectly right next to the beach which was incredibly beautiful!!!

Crimson Spa & Resort is a great place to stay and enjoy some downtime. The rooms are clean and spacious, the bedding was clean and very comfortable.
The grounds are well maintained with a natural flora theme. The pool is clean and refreshing with a beautiful view of the ocean.
AKA restaurant features traditional Japanese selections that are delicious and wonderfully plated, some of the best Japanese food I have had.
Breakfast at the Saffron was a surprising change from the typical hotel buffet. It featured a wide selection from traditional Filipino to Western selections and the pastries were a feast for the eyes as well.
Staff was very friendly and welcoming, we were always greeted warmly and respectfully from the groundskeepers to the front desk, all of them were willing to help make our stay memorable.
The airport shuttle service is on-site, prompt and courteous, about 20 minutes to Mactan-Cebu Intl.
Only issue I experienced was the shower in our room did not have hot water. The sink and tub did, I think it was an issue in that room only as our companions' rooms did have hot showers. I didn't mention it to staff as it was late and having already spent several weeks in Bohol, Panglao I was used to "cold" showers.
When we return next year, I plan on at least two nights at Crimson to experience the amenities in more detail.

They tell you that you have all these amenities or complimentary stuff but they leave out the important details. I had a gift certificate only to find out that you can only use at restaurants within the hotel and not when you check out to cover the room charges. The complimentary drinks, it does not state that you can only claim it at a specific restaurant. The complimentary massage, they would not even accommodate us for the whole time we were there. So those were useless! The transportation, when you call for one, it takes forever for a small resort!
