We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Madeira. It had everything our family needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip—from the well-equipped kitchenette and espresso machine to the thoughtful touch of a collapsible drying rack for swimsuits and towels. The staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and always eager to help. The hotel itself was spotless, and it was clear that cleanliness and guest comfort are top priorities. Breakfast was outstanding, with a great selection of fresh, delicious options. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be booking here again on our next visit!

Great hotel. I'd start there again!

The apartment was in a very central location, only a few moments away from the main shopping mall in Funchal, and coffee shop almost on the doorstep. There was a kitchenette, washing machine and ironing board provided, and all useful utensils provided (even sachets of oil for using the frying pan). Check in was simple with the use of door codes. We had quick responses via WhatsApp from the company and all our questions were answered. Our flight to Madeira was diverted and we ended up having to take a ferry from Porto Santo. This was no issue and we could easily access the apartment when we finally arrived in Madeira at 01:00am. We also received a full refund from An Island Apart for the pre-booked taxi service from the airport after our flight diverted and plans changed. The apartment was great for what we needed and the whole experience was pleasant and easy.

Good basic 4 star hotel, as a base with a pool and breakfast it was fine for us. As long as a little tired decor doesn’t trigger you you’ll be great. Location is fantastic with a small park next door, shopping centre 5mins walk away and dozens of bars and restaurants nearby.

Everything was wonderful!

Lovely boutique hotel nestled in a little bay of Camara de Lobos. Our initial flight from London was cancelled so we arrived a day and a half later than anticipated and when we called to inform the hotel they were so helpful, held the room for us and ensured they had 24/7 reception so we were able to check-in fairly late. They had a welcome present for us in the room as well (that might be because we booked through hotels.com VIP though). The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly throughout our stay. There's no parking, but nearby street parking and a large lot that costs about 8Eur a day. The hotel is in a tiny alleyway though so once you see it the lack of parking makes sense. Good breakfast spread and the rooftop pool looks nice, albeit it's a bit small. There's AC in the room, but it's not the strongest. Overall a great stay, has been our preferred hotel to some of the larger resort style hotels we've stayed in elsewhere on the island. Would definitely go back!
