The facility was extremely clean, modern, and spacious. It felt more like a Nordic apartment than a hotel. And for a price when we stayed, that is one heck of a deal. It came with great amenities like a kitchen and a washer + dryer combo. It is also extremely easy to get to from Oslo S. Use the elevator on the south side between tracks 3 and 4 (where you will alight from the airport train), turn left on the bridge, use the elevator there, then walk down Toyenbekken and turn right on Gronlandsleiret. Took us 8 minutes and was super easy. The neighbourhood is sketchy at night, but we didn't feel too uneasy at 11 pm. But if you are travelling alone, I would suggest sticking to the main street only at night (Gronlandsleiret). During the day, it feels very safe.

Let's start with the positives. The staff vas helpfult and good. The breakfast was one of the best ones I have had in a hotel, but the deserts are just way to sweet, cut down on the sugar guys. The gym is very good and has everything you need for a nice exercise. The pool and sauna is nice but unfortunately very greedy and stupid to charge extra to use them. The hotel is already expensive and off location as it is, at least you should have the pool and sauna included in the price like every other hotel on planet earth, whats the point in visiting this hotel otherwise if you need to pay extra for almost everything except the room? Overall I would rate it a strong 3.5 because of the nice breakfast and staff.

I got the only room type that was available, a large studio (even tho there was a separate room with wardrobe, desk, chair in it, that I did not need). Its definitely clean, kept well, cabinets, drawers are soft closing, has oven, stove top, even a dishwasher and washer dryer 2 in 1, with tablets for both. Olive oil is a surprising welcome gift :) Only thing that was missing is a USB port to charge devices. I don't carry a plug anymore because bunch of countries have different ones. So I'd have to carry a plug, plus an adapter. Never had an issue w USB until now. Other thing I didn't like is uploading my passport to whoknowswhere, because they cheap out on having an actual front desk with actual people. Oh and the water stays in a puddle in the shower, its not slanted so that it would go down the drain. Other than that, Great experience. :) Would return if I'd find it for cheaper, $350/ night is a lot for me 😬
