Was not impressed with Prince Park Tower Tokyo hotel. Reserved a corner king room & was a very outdated room that had a musty cigarette smoke odor. Entering hotel lobby seems grand & initially gives off 5 star but don’t be fooled this is not a 5 star hotel. Will not be staying here again …stay at Intercontinental in same area! THAT is a 5 star hotel!

This hotel is really incredible - the staff is lovely, the rooms are big and comfortable and the grounds are just gorgeous and peaceful. I was devastated to only be there one night but it was awesome nonetheless

It was on its own floor. The apartment was a good size for a family of 5. Had I known there would be a washer and dryer in the room I would have brought less clothes since we did laundry everyday. The showers were a bit hard to use for the kids but they figured it out by the end. There was one night we needed to call the front desk from a nearby Monday hotel as we blew a fuse when we used the toaster oven and microwave at the same time.

This was one of the best stays we've ever had. The service was outstanding, and both the breakfast and dinner offerings were excellent. Rumi and her colleague — whose name I unfortunately can't recall — were absolutely wonderful. They were attentive, patient, and great listeners, even though we could only communicate in English and didn't speak the local language. They made us feel completely at home. The rooms were immaculate — our beds were always made up perfectly, and everything was kept to the highest standard. It was truly an exceptional experience in Japan. In fact, we were so spoiled by this hotel that every other stay felt like a step down as we travelled from Tokyo to other cities.

I am giving some positive stars for the very professional, helpful staff and quick refund. Space-wise it was enough, but the bathroom is tiny even for the Tokyo standard. In Japan we stayed in 3 other places, this one was by far the worst quality to the price. Not sure where the positive reviews are from. During the stay there I got a massive allergic reaction, I was all swollen and has rash all over my body and had trouble breathing from day 1 to the point of waking up on night 2 having problems catching air (and that is not something normal for me). This is being constantly on inhaler steroids and tablet antihistamines. The rooms were supposedly non-smoking but smelled of cigarettes. Luckily, we were quickly transferred to the less smelly one. For people with asthma, allergies or other respiratory problems it is impossible to stay there, the mites, mould and dust in the AC and the cigarette smell can cause a serious reaction as they did in my case. I almost ended at the hospital and a week later I am still struggling with the reaction. I had to leave the hotel early and only got refund for the days I cancelled. I would think for the pain caused a larger refund would be fair. Very disappointed, will never chose any APA hotel again.

The only 2 knocks I have on this place is: 1) it didn’t have any elevators (even though it does specify it). So if you have heavy luggage, prep those legs to haul up 6 steep flights of stairs. 2) shower space and ceiling height are quite small. The place is large enough for a family of 3 or 4 but with minimal room for luggage, it’s quite a work around. Overall, for the price they offered this, it’s hard to beat. There’s an also no bidet. The washer is handy though. This property pretty close to Heiwajima station on the KK line. There’s also vending machines, small shops, and small restaurants around the area within very walkable distance. So that’s a definite plus. If you keep your standards low and stay humble, you can easily blend in with the Japanese ways!
