My one night stay was very good, the staff were excellent and very helpful. Be aware there are only 8 rooms in this hotel and no elevator. If you arrive early as an international traveler it may not be as easy to check in vs. a larger hotel with a 24 hour front desk. Otherwise, it was a superb stay, the rooms were very clean, modern, quiet, with nice marble and fixtures in the bath. Staff were very personable and helpful in anything requested that was within their ability to provide. Breakfast was available a few doors down from the hotel and was presented in a very elegant, classy setting. I would definitely consider another stay if I were visiting Southampton, UK. Nice job!

Really disappointed with this stay, especially as I’ve stayed at the Harbour Hotel Southampton before and had a much better experience. This time it was noticeably worse. The biggest issue was the noise. The neighbours were extremely loud and there seemed to be very little soundproofing, so you could hear everything. The balcony was also really noisy, which made it difficult to properly relax and enjoy it. There were also problems with the TV, the Wi-Fi wasn’t great, and there wasn’t even a phone in the room to contact reception or room service, meaning you had to use your own mobile. Parking was also a hassle and felt unnecessarily difficult for a hotel at this price. On a positive note, the bed was really comfortable, so at least we slept well when it was quiet! Room service also took around 50 minutes to arrive, which felt like a long wait. Overall, it’s a shame because I’ve stayed here before and had a much better experience. For the price, I expected a much higher standard. Unfortunately, this stay felt like a significant step backwards and just wasn’t worth the money.

Lovely lodge, clean and appreciated the birthday balloons. Good communication and excellent location in winchester with new forest short driving distance. We went to go for breakfast on last day at the golf club but found them unfriendly with a cold atmosphere. The lodge however was fab!

Room 29 again, A nice quite room, slept well. Followed by a good breakfast.
