Lot 61 Ski Vacations

It’s a nice place and you get what you paid for. It’s very affordable. It’s basically a room in a home. The only issue we had was we did have a distinctive smell of mold or mildew in our room. We could not locate it, but it was definitely there otherwise a wonderful place great location and great staff.

We had a great one night stay at Blackbush Resort. It started with driving up to the property and its wonderful location right near the shore. A great greeting at the front desk and some help from Lamar who was bartending but noticed it was raining and ran outside to bring an umbrella as we were unloading our bags. A large gorgeous room - with views! We noticed the heated bathroom floor and we were impressed. The hot tubs outside were wonderful. The didn’t dine here but there is an in-house restaurant that had a set menu for evening and what looked like a sport bar type restaurant a block away that was open until 9. We had dinner plans elsewhere but would babe checked it out. You can see the ocean from many angles of the property, and the beach is a few minutes walk away. Wish we had stayed at least one more night really explore the area.

The property consists of several old homes that have been remodelled into a hotel. We stayed in the middle home, which was probably the least attractive of the three homes. The room was OK. It wasn’t particularly well cleaned by housekeeping and there was nothing extraordinary about it. It was OK not great there was air-conditioning. The hotel offers free coffee drinks, but you have to go to the main lobby to get them in the morning. Overall, the staff was lovely and very very friendly. We had breakfast one day, which wasn’t included in our package and it was very good and very reasonably priced. It is the high season, but I wouldn’t stay there again for the price that we paid.
