Rather disappointed with the Oxford. Although it was in the perfect location for proximity to downtown sporting events and areas, I'd hoped it would stand out a bit more. The hotel's bar closed early. The restaurant wasn't open for breakfast and they had a teeny tiny continental breakfast not worth writing home about. The front desk personnel seemed bored and lacking any personaltiy. The only bright spot was the Doormen who were full of character and pleasantries. The room was nice, bedding high quality, but there was no inroom safe. I had to ask for one and by then it was no longer needed.
All in all, great location and unique historical value but lacked much of anything else.

Wonder, classy stay at the Hotel Teatro. From the valet service, to reception and dining, everything was 5-star. Very clean and quiet rooms. Highly recommended for a stay in Denver. Great location between Capital Hill and Union Station.

Staff wasnt very accommodating at first was kind of confrontation (johnathan) then I think he realized he was employee and I was guest and I worked for marriot bonvoy and he was like sorry his favorite word was no and I wasnt happy with the room I had view of rooftop and building next door and he said you got what you paid for you didnt pay for view I was staying 6 nights for my anniversary so finally after saying they we sold out on Tues thru sun thet somehow found a room 🤔🤔🤔after I called marriot customer service and he mentioned that to me well you called the company ... anyway hotel was very nice ...but guest accommodation and speaking to guest needs work ....I wont be back

Outdoor veranda was outstanding and rooms are spacious and clean w good amenities (especially the shared kitchen is a helpful attribute sometimes). Good location for hiking and biking (even to Boulder) w trails and multi-use paths. Very secure spot. Only hiccup is after 5pm access sometimes when booking through 3rd party sites. Requires logging in to get required check-in info including outer door access, room number and room keys. However they do provide landlines w numbers to call that are almost always picked up before vm. Unfortunately, my experience this time was not on the first try but was on the second and every time I’ve stayed before it was on the first try.
