All that’s before you even set foot inside the museum. And you really should, because it contains more than 120,000 pieces spread across five buildings. This vast space contains exhibits from all across the world, ranging from ancient history through to the present day, including artworks from Latin America, Asia, and the classical Mediterranean, as well as incredibly large collections of Islamic and contemporary art. Let’s face it, you’re not going to cover all of that in an afternoon. But if you somehow need even more to do, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art is right next to the world-famous La Brea Tar Pits, an active paleontological research site and museum that holds its own when it comes to movie and television appearances.

Having provided one of the most incredible scenes, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and in particular the Urban Light exhibit, is an absolute must-see for fans of the show. Couples can even recreate their own romantic moment, so beautifully set against the myriad of historic street lamps.
