Weekend getaways in Orleans

I had booked for two nights but when I arrived the booking was for one night the room was very nice and updated but not close to a beach not close to transportation on a very busy highway

This is a basic motel, but our rooms were newly painted, new floor in the bathroom, enough plugs by the bed, with a refrigerator and small microwave. The beds, sheets, pillows were comfortable. Big negative was the small, scratchy towels, but you can't have it all. The room was very clean. It is convenient to most Cape locations and activities. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The manager had a fruit, crackers and cheese tray waiting for us in our room at check in along with a card wishing us a happy 30th wedding anniversary. We loved the big pool and enjoyed a day exploring First Encounter Beach and Nauset Light area. We plan on returning in the near future.

The Whalewalk BnB was the perfect weekend getaway: location is great, facilities were wonderful, service was impeccable and the food was terrific. It is exactly what everyone should experience on their vacation. Go there - you will love it!

The Nauset Beach Inn at Orleans is a special gem. The accommodations were clean and well kept. The view from our living room picture window was amazing, especial the early morning sunrises. Glorious! Not to be missed. We enjoyed the large firepit afternoons and evenings. The fireplace was a nice touch. Location was convenient for the many places to eat and visit. The owner was friendly and helpful. One suggestion for our cabin #4 is that it needs a shelf for toiletries in the bathroom. There...

I had a great overall experience staying at The Villages at Ocean Edge! The check in process was easy and the staff was able to accommodate my check-in early request. I would book another stay in the future and I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Property is handy to many sites of interest on the lower Cape Cod, including Provincetown. Staff is very good. Property is kept up to standards.

The newly renovated rooms were bright and comfortable. We didn’t have a chance to try the indoor pool, but it looked nice! The only complaint I have is that our reservation states free breakfast but the management said that was an error. They compromised by paying a portion of our breakfast. I think free breakfast would be a nice amenity since there is a restaurant on the premises. It also would be nice if they gave you an option of tea along with coffee in the rooms.

This is a beautiful resort with an astonishing private beach. The rooms are big and beautiful with a comfortable bed and a great bathroom and shower. The people who work at the resort are attentive and friendly and provide top notch customer service. Upon entering your room,you are welcomed with your name on the TV, classical music, and a complimentary basket of fruit and Voss water. Winter or summer, this is our favorite spot to vacation- we love the peaceful, serene atmosphere of the town and Chatham Tides. Main St. has a cute, unique, little stores if shopping is what you enjoy. Property is well kept, ocean view room provides precisely the view that we love to wake up to. Staff is always helpful and accommodating, without being overbearing. Can't wait to return!

Great hotel at the Cape. Staff was very detailed and provided personalized service. Hotel facilities were top notch. I especially loved the decor. On site restaurant was pricey but had amazing food.

The staff was great. We were greeted by John who immediately gave our dog a treat and showed us to our room. The facilities were beautiful and the staff was exceptional. Kevin at the bar was always willing to help and go the extra mile to make everyone happy. This is one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at.

My sister and I did a few day trip to the Cape and once again stayed here. It is clean and comfortable and I always sleep well! Pam is lovely and accommodating and the queen of muffins. Not fancy, shmancy...but has everything you need/want for a motel and very comfortable. This was our second trip and stay and we will be visiting Pam again!

We stayed for 3 nights. We visited Cape Cod National Seashore on our arrival day. The next day we took a roundtrip ferry ride to Nantucket. The day after, a round-trip ferry ride to Martha's vineyard. Breakfast was included. We had a room on the 2nd floor which was nice and quiet.

The innkeeper, Adriana, is a gem. She makes the most delicious breakfast every morning, and is always available with a smile and a helping hand.

Highly recommend Chatham Bars Inn! Stay in the cottages along the water and start each day with a view of the sunrise, fishing boats, and harbor seals. Walk to the pool, beach, and the buffet breakfast. Walk to Main Street in town for even more restaurants, ice cream and candy shops, and great browsing in stores you can only find on the Cape.
