I used to live in La Porte, worked in La Porte for 42 years, and retired from La Porte PD in 2016. Now I've moved to deep NE Texas, but have to travel back to La Porte for family functions and football games.
This property is the best in town.
Always clean and the staff are very friendly and welcoming.

We wanted to stay close to the airport (Hobby) so we went with this place. The only hard park was crossing the oncoming traffic to get to the hotel. Didn’t realize it was in a secluded area. The room was nice and clean.

I looked at the rules posted at the pool and it was not notated there. I also thought the manager would have come to the person and have a reasonable conversation, but he did not. He just yelled it and walked away. The dog was actually a service dog for a military vet who served our country. The great thing is that the vet was compliant and...
