Weekend getaways in Riomaggiore

Our host was excellent! She picked us up from La Spezia, prepared a welcome bruschetta, handled a couple of our special requests, prepared coffee & crepes on the morning of checkout, and had her husband & daughter drive us back to La Spezia. The space was very big and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

5 Terre Pelagos was an incredible place to stay. My wife and I stayed in Paris, Rome, Florence, Venice and Cinque Terre and this was our favorite hotel by far. Loris, the receptionist was extremely helpful. She personally walked us to our room and even booked us a reservation at an amazing restaurant next to the hotel. Clean, comfortable and detailed. Definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in Manarola.

This was such a lovely little place in Riomaggiore! The accommodations were comfortable and Andrea went out of his way to welcome us and even carried our luggage up all the stairs for us! This whole area is VERY hilly and there are LOTS of steps everywhere, so be prepared for a great leg workout!

Amazing! Love how this place is slightly away from the center of town. The hill to the hotel was a pain but definitely worth it!

Enrico and his wife were very inviting and gave us excellent suggestions for dinner and site seeing. The room was fantastic and the A/C was very appreciative after walking around Cinque Terre’s 4 other towns. I would definitely recommend staying at Hotel de Sole, we did for 3 nights. Breakfast is simple Italian, coffee or cappuccino, fruits, breads, pastries, cheese, ham, tomatoes, and of course nuttella and jams. Lastly, the personal touches in and around the hotel were much appreciated....

5TP was A++. Loris, our point of contact at the hotel was amazing. The service she provided was well above what you'd expect at the price point. From welcoming us, to her suggestions, to the check out process... flawless. She was clearly passionate about giving us the best experience. Info with directions for arrival were clear and simple. Clean room

the host Antonella was very helpful esp with transportation such as bus, ferry, and train schedules. we were able to purchase the train/bus pass for a discount thru the hotel. breakfast was made to order, delicious, and ready for us. parking was important for us and we were able to park underground in a secured area.

We found out about this hotel by checking reviews online. Every review we found was very positive. Many of the reviews even stated the names of the owners, Franchesca and Eugenio, who ran the whole operation. Great location in Manarola - far enough up the street so that few tourists pass by. Balcony was wonderful in the mornings. Check-in/check-out was easy. Internet only worked upstairs, the only small TV was downstairs in the bedroom, and we really wished the bed was softer (hard compared to US rentals). After seeing all 5 towns, we would stay in Manarola again, and would rent Le Coste again.

Felt like a local staying in this beautiful apartment in the heart of Riomaggiore. For a great price too.

Everything about Riomaggiore is on a hill. If you stay here, know that. There is a lot of climbing but I really liked our hotel and staff. Plus breakfast is included!

Amazing place and beautiful location but definitely a lot of stairs to reach it so be aware! But I would absolutely stay here again and the view was lovely!

The property was beautiful, it was the most amazing view and most comfortable stay we had in our trip to Italy. The walk to the hotel is worth it. Keep in mind that if you stay during Orange weather warning period all shops close so you will need to find food in another city. That said this place is still worth it !

We had a fantastic stay. The location was perfect. The view was picturesque, and the breakfast was superb. I was worried after I booked; I saw some bad reviews on this place that it was a scam. It is NOT a scam; you need to be smart and read your emails. Check-in is contactless, but it is all laid out in a welcome letter by email and worked flawlessly. The staff was super responsive to WhatsApp texts, and we had a fantastic trip. I will definitely stay with them again. And encourage the same....

Staying here was great! A little bit of a hike uphill but worth it. It was easy to find. Amazing views if not the best views in Manarola!
