This is a classic "old" hotel with charm and well run.

Staff were very friendly, very clean and you could go hiking out your front door.

Mary and John could not be nicer, friendlier, and accommodating hosts. They went over and above what is expected from a host of a bed and breakfast. The room we stayed in was very comfortable, roomy and had a beautiful newly remodeled private bath. The breakfasts were delicious and presented in a cute country basket that you could either take and enjoy on the backyard deck overlooking the beautiful garden or take across the street and enjoy in the park. The restaurant is excellent - we loved our Canadian beef tenderloin with walnuts and blue cheese. The wine selection was reasonable with a wide range. The Little Inn is quaint and charming.

What a cozy respite for a weary traveler! Angus welcomed me and showed me my room and the amenities. The great room with the wood stove and coffee/tear bar was a fantastic place to relax. The room was clean with everything I needed. The location is off the highway and very quiet but still close to the port.

The property is family run of modest accommodations. There is a kitchenette with a full set of dishes, cookware, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, stove top and refrigerator. The room and bathroom were spacious, clean and well maintained. It is located a few miles from town and the construction. Even though it is on the main road, it was relatively quiet. Convenient location.

This was our second time staying here and it didn’t disappoint. Always a very pleasant and relaxing stay. The food in the restaurant is exceptional! The staff is awesome as well.

We went to the ashwood on a whim and were nervous after reading some of the negative reviews. We were very, very pleased with the stay and the wonderful staff. We arrived later than expected {after the front desk closed} and the Inn keeper was willing to put our key somewhere for us to get after hours and we could check in the following morning.
