Weekend getaways in Ponta Delgada

The staff was very pleasant. hotel was very clean. Well maintenance. Rooms were very, very nice. Location was perfect for what I needed to be. Would stay there again.

Absolutely LOVED this hotel. We stayed in a room that was perfect for 4 guests. Very comfortable, friendly staff, and incredible breakfast. It was so nice to have a nice balcony to sit on in the morning with coffee and evening with wine!

We were extremely pleased with the property and accomodations. Well appointed rooms, pool, sauna, steam room, fitness room. Beds were great. Delivered breakfast was customized and outstanding. Staff was great. 5 stars plus!

Cleanliness par excellence

They are very helpful in all aspects, from booking tours, booking our taxi for airport transport. They where very accommodating with early check in and late check out due to our flight times. They have an area to hold our luggage so we could explore Açores luggage free. They are also very fast with replying to messages especially while in Açores! Apartment was clean and they cleaned daily and gave us fresh towels!

It’s a beautiful home overlooking Ponta Delgada. There’s a beautiful pool in back and it’s extremely walkable as you are right in the old area all section of the city. Everything is very comfortable.

Great place helpful staff

Loved everything about this boutique hotel. Everyone went above and beyond helping us with suggestions of what to do while there. The room was clean and well laid out. The breakfast was delicious with many buffet options plus a few made to order dishes. The vibe is modern but welcoming. The pool area is nice - it was chilly while we were there so we didn’t swim, but it was a calm place to sit and relax after hiking. The property is great. But for me the people who work here really made the stay amazing. They are all kind welcoming people that did all they could to make our stay amazing. This place is well located and literally offers everything you need for your trip. From rental car services to a place to hold your bags before check-in and after check-out. If I come back I’ll definitely stay here again.

Great location not far from central Ponta delgada main area. The staff was friendly and were very pleasant to interact with. I like that they had breakfast included every morning and the rooms were newly renovated. Highly recommend

I have stayed at Grand Hotel Açores Atlântico five times in the last 18 months. The staff is especially friendly and accommodating. Antonio in particular always greets you with a warm smile and an interesting fact about the island. His quick wit is a plus too! I will always stay at the Grand Hotel.

We enjoyed our stay. The units are spacious and very clean. An open courtyard is available for use. The location is excellent for exploring Ponta Delgado. The garage is a great benefit if you rent a car.

The included breakfast was customized to our tastes and delicious! As options were few in town for dinner, we ate in, and were delighted by the meal!
