Weekend getaways in Augsburg

Ty

A little noisy. No AC, breakfast somewhat limited, not any hot food other than soft boiled eggs. Only on 1 day did we have scrambled eggs. Tables at breakfast were not cleaned in a timely manner to keep up with the number of guests.

We were very pleased that we chose this hotel. It was close to the Christmas markets, a wide array of shops, and transportation. We were traveling by train and were within walking distance of the main station. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This was a great stay at a great price - once we found it! GPS did not take us to the right building. There was nothing on the outside of the building to let us know there was a hotel there. It was a grocery store by all appearances. The hotel is above the grocery store but had no sign to say that. Please put up a sign on the outside of the building that says: HOTEL.

Quick check-in process, room was clean and quiet!

Great Location for our travel.

Was only there one night so we really didn’t use the kitchen, rooms we nice and bathroom was clean. I just didn’t like the process of trying to get a code for the room so late and then looking for the address on the street in the rain. Location services could have been better.

It’s everything ok

The room was charming with beautiful furniture. The garden restaurant was lovely and the food excellent.

The Dorint hotel is located close to the Congress center in Augsburg. In about 2 min. you can reach the Tram station which takes you right to the historic city center in about 10 min. There is a Parking option right next to the hotel, in case your arrive via car, and a large park close by e.g. to jogg. It is a modern hotel with comfortable rooms. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet is extensive and very good.

The hotel is very nice. The salt sauna is marvelous. The food (breakfast and dinner) were very healthy and delicious. The room was clean and comfortable.
