Weekend getaways in Belize District

I was very impressed with the service and the excellent condition of the room. Highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone.

We stayed at the Palms for a night as Hurricane Beryl approached Belize. The property was lovely, but the best part was the wonderful staff- Angelee and Selvin were absolutely amazing! They helped us in a million ways, and always with great friendliness, even in the anxious hours before the storm arrived. Next time we go to Belize City, we'll definitely stay at the Palms!

We had the place to ourselves and the beautiful wildlife right on the river. Shanna and Kenny were wonderful and handled every aspect of our trip. The pool and bbq were fun! I would definitely stay here again. The family of Howler Monkeys with babies were my favorite part. Peaceful, serene, and in the jungle.

The level of customer service was personal and exceptional. My room was large and I appreciated the full size refrigerator and large balcony. This is a newer hotel, the owner Jake makes himself accessible, Jennifer was on site to make sure things ran smoothly, and this hotel is in walking distance of local food spots. Experience is everything, and I had an excellent & restful experience at this hotel. I absolutely hands down recommend Hibisco, and I 100% will stay here again when I make it back...

Great stay, great hosts and staff. The beach looks like it is from a movie. If you want a beach, you have to stay on the west side of the island due to the sea grass that builds up. The west side is calm with no waves, beautiful, but is about a 30 minutes golf cart ride.

Cathy was very friendly and made our short stay very pleasant. Tony our driver was also friendly, professional and knowledgeable about Belize in general

The resort is located a 5-min boat ride away from San Pedro and the resort provided a boat service that was always available at 15-20 mins notice, and the boat captain was highly responsive and helpful, even showing us specific shops in San Pedro that we needed, so we didn't get lost. Coco Beach is a beautiful resort! Staff is amazing, our 2 bedroom villa was so comfortable, clean and spacious. The food and drinks at the pool bar were great. 2 things … 1. there is no beach! This was disappointing 2. Rent your golf cart thru vendor not thru hotel, half The price

This was such a lovely stay! My partner and I stayed here for the carnival weekend and would definitely do it again. The location is perfect, you can easily walk into downtown if you like and that morning sea view is amazing! Breakfast was always very nice and we even got Belizean fried Jacks on Sunday. Rooms were comfy and the host was the kindest lady and very helpful with suggestions. There is parking available on the property so if you are driving it is very convenient.

Great weather and warm water made several days of snorkeling a real treat. Guides were knowledgeable and accommodating. We swam with nurse sharks and a manatee as well as many other fish and saw at least 9 types of coral. Seeing the Mayan ruins at Lamanai was well worth the day. In the evening we ate at several of the many restaurants that were within walking distance and enjoyed each. This is the end of the rainy season so we needed bug spray as well as lots of sun tan lotion. Daily showers...

I stayed for my birthday in February and I will say it’s safe, clean, and perfect for solo or plus one traveling! You’re about 10 minutes from the city but the owner has amazing recommendations for drivers, food options, and excursions that she helps with if you ask! If I come back to Belize definitely will be back!

While San Pedro is not for beach lovers since the beach is not usable near this property, there are area attractions to take advantage of such as snorkeling, diving, and fishing. Spend an hour and you'll get to a beautiful beach either in Key Caulker or at the Secret Beach. Renting a golf cart is highly recommendable. Absolutely fabulous! We will go back! The place was huge! It was so quiet and comfortable and the staff was very accommodating! The kitchen was fully stocked to enjoy a meal in when we chose to do so! We had the 1st floor so we walked out to a beautiful pool and lounging area! My only wish was that they had a swimming area off of the dock so that we could enjoy the ocean more!

The property is well managed and is in a central location next to the cruise ship docks and the Belize sign. The adjoining yoga, health and café center next door were very nice. Didn't have time for a class, but wish I did:)

This is an amazing Resort. Being our 4th trip to Belize, we have stayed at different places each time and this was our favorite so far. Amazing room and friendly staff! The only downside is, the lack of cart parking. I would recommend having staff park their scooters/motorcycles in a staff only parking area and leave the cart parking area for the guests.
