Weekend getaways in Playa Hermosa

T Loft at Playa Hermosa was an amazing experience for me. It was my first time traveling to Costa Rica alone and I was a bit nervous before the trip but that all went away as soon as I arrived. We love this hotel. It is a short walk to the beach, offers great facilities and had a great restaurant, all at a very reasonable nightly rate. During our stay the hotel had live music several nights. No worries about what to do, the hotel can arrange excellent tours to meet every desire. We loved the staff. They were very friendly, always helpful, knowledgeable, and treated us like family. Villa del Sueno will be our go to stay for a mid winter break in the future.

This property is beautiful especially for the price. Staff was very accommodating and quick to help. The large ceiling to floor windows provide an absolutely amazing view. Beds are comfortable. Food was good! Beautiful hotel grounds and easy beach access with lounge chairs. Staff is happy to help.

Nice gated place. Two apartments below, two above. We didn’t hear our neighbors, which was nice. Really close to the beach but you need to follow forest paths to get there faster. Lots of monkeys and iguanas around. Playa Hermosa is a much quieter beach town than many others, and we like it that way. The bigger hotel Villa de Sueno on the corner has good (though overpriced) food and music several nights a week.

It is a nice small Hotel that can serve as an operation base, between Liberia (Main City, 30 min drive) and the beach coast (Hermosa Beach, 4 min walking) Hermosa Beach is not the prettiest, but is nice, clean, with blue waters. From there you can visit, Coco, Danta, Las Catalinas (30 min drive) or Flamingo, Conchal, Playa Grande, Tamarindo (60 min drive). Beautiful property and kind workers. Helped us out with transportation and activities, and the amenities were very nice and clean.

The villa was wonderful. The beds were comfortable and I slept well. The customer service of the hotel is quick and efficient when you call the reservation desk. I thought my room light was not working so I called the front desk and they sent someone within 2 hours. The repair man showed me the other light switch near the bedroom lamp area. Great amenities and hospitality!!

El lugar, el apartamento, la decoracion, la comodidad de las camas todo super super bien. La cercania con todo fue formidable y la seguridad tambien. Volveria sin ninguna duda si me toca ir por esas playas de nuevo.

It’s a beautiful place to visit. The view is amazing, the food is actually great. My only displeasure was they didn’t have tv BUT that just means you’ll have more reason to connect with family, wife/husband or what ever friends you came with.

When we arrived there was a hiccup at airport / rental car. I was very concerned but called Thisbee. She calmed me, explained options, and was a trusted colleague. The owners went well above their “jobs” to assure our stay was perfect, and it was.

This is a great hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We used the pool several times. The room was very comfortable and the air conditioning was a nice perk. You are a 20 minute walk to the main city center. I would highly recommend listening to the advice of the hotel staff and walk along the beach. The walk along the road would not be recommended, especially at night. This property is a good value for your money. I would stay here again.

My husband and I were married at the Four Seasons at Disney in Orlando April 2015 so we had high expectations for the Four Seasons Costa Rica and we were not disappointed!! We had a fantastic stay at Epic Tamarindo! The property is clean, well-maintained, and conveniently close to several beaches. The rooms are spacious, and we absolutely loved the private plunge pool. We’ll definitely be back!

The views are spectacular! Everything green around you, with the ocean just in front of you.
