Weekend getaways in Ankeny

Everything was perfect. WILL be back!

Great price for a quick stop. Beds were decently comfortable. Great breakfast options. Most importantly it was clean! Would definitely recommend

This place was absolutely amazing! They are taking a lot of precautions with Covid, so we were still able to use all of the facilities, but in a way that felt safe and structured. The staff went above and beyond for us and were always super nice. The area is really cute and there’s plenty of restaurants and stores to walk to. Groceries were also nearby. We worked out of here for three days and the WiFi worked great. We would highly recommend!

The staff was so friendly! This hotel is modern and so clean! Our room is as very nice and the pool was perfect! The water was warm and felt so good after a long day at an amusement park. A grab and go breakfast was provided which included muffins, Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich, yogurt, oatmeal and fruit. Great morning starter for our family! The ratings for this hotel are spot on, I’d stay at this hotel again!

Breakfast was amazing and well stocked. The room was beautiful and very clean. Pool had some non guests, it seemed and they were quite overwhelming. Our kids went to room to play. The location is very nice!! Wonderful stay....

Overall a fantastic stay with no complaints whatsoever. Good location, comfortable room, great business center open 24 hrs and a very helpful staff. Particularly cool were the girls and guys at the breakfast bar. Jenni in particular was super nice. Would definitely stay here again except this time in the spring or summer!!! No joke, it was cold outside during our visit.

Checked in fast and easy. Friendly staff Breakfast area had a wide variety of foods. When entering the hotel it was welcoming.

Great place to stay! Room was very clean and HUGE!! Bathroom was also very spacious! Would stay here again!

I've stayed at this property many times over the years and it is consistently a good experience.

Cheap. Sweet pool and hot tub. Literally what more could you ask for in a $90 room for a night. Guy working the desk at night may 4th was great.

Good

Breakfast was good

The property is under new management. I have stayed here for the past 4 years. The new owner is installing new flooring in the breakfast bar area and the lobby. They are replacing carpet and just had the pool re-done. They are fixing up the outside as well. It is a great location and the improvements they are making will make this property look like new!

What a gorgeous hotel! Every detail felt thoughtfully curated, from the classy design and upscale atmosphere to the beautiful little touches that made the entire experience feel special. It had that perfect blend of luxury, charm, and character. The icing on the cake was the Halloween décor! 🎃🕸️ They went above and beyond, creating such a fun, festive atmosphere while still keeping everything elegant. It was absolutely beautiful and made the experience even more memorable! The specialty drinks...

This is one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Absolutely beautiful historic building with a grand scale and fully updated modern rooms. The design and comfort is impeccable. Large room and bathroom, but not so large that it isn’t cozy. Perfect in my opinion. The onsite dining options are fantastic for world class breakfast lunch and dinner at very reasonable prices. And the coffee is amazing. There were a couple of quirks in the room—the sound of trickling water whenever the ac turned...
