Weekend getaways in Bethel

Nothing new or fancy, but a solid well kept place to stay. Kids enjoyed the clean pool, and the staff was quite pleasant!

Amazing is a good word for it. Friendly check in, marvelous guest lounge with cooking facilities, free coffee, tea, cocoa, couple hundred books, lots of land all around including woods(good for walking dog), comfortable roomand beds, microwave and frig real helpful to those who prefer, like us, eating in, All in all, it will be our go to place for future trips to visit Maine cousins!

This was my third stay at this hotel. It's a perfect place to do an overnight if you're interested in going to the falls in the area. The outdoor pool is huge, the hot tub is right next to the pool and large enough to feel like you aren't rubbing elbows with strangers, the ski hill and lift are in the back drop and there is a bar poolside for those who want a drink (I don't drink so I can't attest to the quality of drinks). We had a wonderful stay at the Bethel Inn. The staff is friendly and helpful. Upon checking in, we found we had been upgraded to a larger room with two queen beds instead of twins, had a fireplace and a lounge area. Very nice of them. We looked out over the golf course and had a nice sunset. Ate dinner in the tavern and our food was delicious. We ate in the bar area which had a cozier atmosphere than the restaurant part. The property is beautiful, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was the best I have ever had at a hotel. I would definitely stay again when I am in the area.

Highly Recommended Peaceful Place!

We loved our stay at Tuck Away Suites! We were there for two nights and it was so nice. The unit was very clean, spacious, and loved the mini apartment/condo feel. I enjoyed having the windows open and listening to the birds, rain, and river that was right outside. So peaceful. Thank you. We would recommend a stay at Tuck Away Suites to everyone!

We arrived on a snowy Sunday late afternoon and were greeted by Sandy the Inns owner. She showed us around then brought us to our beautiful suite. It was nicely decorated, very comfortable, quiet and clean. The breakfast prepared for us each morning were delicious! I wish we could have stayed longer.

This property is perfect for an adult only weekend. The restaurant on property was amazing and the service exceeded expectations!

When we first pulled up, our hearts sank. We didn't realize we had booked a room at a motel. We didn't think we'd be able to get a room somewhere else at the last second so we decided to stay despite our reservations. I am so glad we did! The Pinkham house, basically an apartment over the office, was very clean, roomy and had everything we needed and then some. One of the nicest hotel rooms ever. Larger room than most. Great decor. Quality furniture and cabinets. Wood trim and doors properly painted - not rolled on for quick job. Two glasses in the bathroom for guests. Dimmer switch in bath that allowed to use as nightlight. Thermostat controlled AC - NOT through the wall noisy hotel unit. Large shower. Clean new construction- but solid quality build! So wonderful and appreciated!

My stay at the inn was very pleasant. The only thing I struggled with which wasn't a big deal is the fireplace in the room, even on the lowest temp, makes the room very hot. I ended up just turning it off completely. I'm sure in the winter months this will be delightful. The fireplace looks nice and the room in cozy. It's just I found the heat pumping out of it very hot, even when turned all the way down. No biggy. I would definitely come back. Beautiful inn. The beds are very cozy.

Hotel was great but when we went to check n they told me the reservations where for July 2-3. Everything had should June 2-3,

This was one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. The room was very spacious with a sink area with fridge and microwave. Large bathroom with great shower. Very close to hiking, shops, restaurants and small grocer. We will definitely return.

The hosts were welcoming and very helpful with suggestions for dining, shopping and hiking. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Great location for hiking White Mountains, hosts are friendly, cozy and clean room, yummy breakfast. Highly recommend it.
