Weekend getaways in Calvi

Marie-Genevieve and her son Jean-Charles were the most amazing hosts! They were incredibly gracious and always made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. The property is absolutely beautiful with most rooms offering little private outdoor areas, as well. They stock the kitchen with all of the pots, pans, silverware, etc that you would need to prepare your own food if you want. There is also a very cute little common patio area if you'd like to make new friends with the other guests...

Perfect location right across from the main beach in idyllic seaside village L'ile Rousse. Helpful staff, clean rooms and nice pool. The old fashioned train ride to and from Calvi was a highlight not a hassle.

No signs on the road, arrived via ferry and dragged my luggage around looking for it. Entrance is was off the main road so we couldn’t see it. However, the place was impecable and brand new. I think rates were extremely high for the location but it was last a minute booking.

A very nice hotel near the center of Calvi. Wonderful staff, very nice room, nice pool and a very good breakfast buffet with local cheese etc. The hotel is walking distance of the port, the center of the city and thr railroad station.

A very well run, ocean front hotel in a lovely coastal town. Absolute marvelous surprise its first class gym facilities!

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for a week in June to explore the area of and around Calvi. The location was perfect, allowing us easy access to the highway, about 7 minute walk to the old part of the city and marina, as well as hiking trails right across the street that went for miles along the coast line. I cannot say enough about the kindness and friendliness of the staff. We speak very little french and the staff was so helpful explaining customs, giving advice or recommendations. At...
