Property was great, very close to the town, easy free parking across the road and a good breakfast. Our room was nice with a big private rerrace with sun beds and a sea view. Our stay was spoilt by some of the hotel policies. We booked the room with a terrace and sea view planning to sit out in the evening with a glass of wine and a snack. There was a big sign on each room door to say no food at all allowed in the room or a 100 euro fine. Further, there were no glasses, only tiny paper cups. Glasses are not allowed in the room either. We thought we would have to make do with a cup of tea, but the kettles were taken away from the rooms due to an electrical fault in the hotel. We had to go down to the bar for a plastic cup of hot water to make our tea - bit sad really.

The hotel has a lot to offer. Our room was modern, quiet, spacious and clean with a comfortable bed and good sized bathroom with a beautiful view over to Calvi and the citadel. There is a lift to all floors and indoor pool. The buffet breakfast has a good range of cold food on offer, with the option to eat in or out on the terrace. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a free secure car park too which is great as it's worth taking trips into the mountains and along the coast. The outdoor pool is a little small with stepped and sloping sides which restricted the swim area which was a pity as the hotel is a fair walk to the beach- but it does have a pool which many hotels dont! The hotel is situated a 10min walk from the centre and the port with a couple of eateries on the way. Calvi is a original old Corsican town, a perfect place for eating, shopping and relaxing with beautiful scenery and beaches. We will be back again.
