The room was very clean, including the bathroom, Breakfast was good. The best part of our stay was Maria, who was most helpful and very comfortable to work with.

I have stayed here a few times during the last couple of years. It’s always clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

I always love staying here but this night I got the hotel room for my parents and my grandmother, who is 99, and suffering from dementia. My grandmother had an episode and wouldn't take her medicine and claiming that my mother kidnapped her. The staff dropped what they were doing and talked to my grandmother. One lady was busy cleaning rooms and when my grandmother started talking to her she stopped what she was doing. She even walked with her to the breakfast room and calmly just talked. My...

Clean and quiet room.

This is an older Motor Lodge with some room updates. The owners have done a good job with replacing old flooring with good tile and laminates, and good shower/tub area. Some new furniture pieces were also nice. Rooms are bigger than expected, which is nice for storing bikes and other recreation equip indoors. Excellent stay at this hotel. Room was very large, clean, and comfortable. We had a king room and the large couch in the room was definitely a bonus.Bed was comfy. Shower head can use some updating but water was nice and hot. Awesome free breakfast options..eggs with cheese, bacon, seaoned potatoes, grits, waffles, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, cereal, pastries, bagels, toast. Very good coffee. I will definitely stay here again and recommend.

The Emory House was lovely. Sitting on the front porch at the end of our drive was exactly what we needed. Our room was comfortable and the bed was particularly comfy. Best of all Rachel and Mike were very welcoming. We’re looking forward to staying with them again!

The property is beautiful, the people are nice and best of all… I got a great night’s sleep. The breakfast was fabulous - get the eggs benedict. My only complaint, which is minor, please serve tea with the correct temp of hot water. I know tea drinkers are the minority but hot water will go a long way with us.

Our stay was most enjoyable. Accomodations were great. Coffee 24/7! Our hosts were friendly. The downtown location allowed us access to a grocery store, eateries, souvenirs, etc. We will return.

My husband and I stopped overnight on our trip home from Tennessee. We just wanted to rest and be fresh for the next day's last leg of our trip, but it was so nice, we lounged around the next day until time for checkout! Cracker Barrel restaurant is literally next door - you don't even need to move your car, just walk across the parking lot. Beautiful, comfortable, convenient and great staff made this the PERFECT place to stop.

Bathroom was fine, clean and adequate size but the toilet was too low. They need to update to the higher ones making it easier for seniors.
