Excellent service attentive staff. I forgot my razor and sure enough there they had one for me , its the little things that count . Will do again .

The room was clean and fresh. The bed linens were crisp and clean. The room was equipped with a coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, iron, flat screen tv, and hair dryer. Complimentary bottled water, coffee, fruit and pastries are provided in the main office in the morning. Close to shopping and restaurants. Staff was very accommodating as we arrived a couple hours before check in and they were able to get us a room rather quickly. We were okay if they were not able to but I appreciate they were able to make the effort.

Very nice hotel right next to the Amtrak station. We took the train so location was perfect. However, you will hear trains running day and night. Very clean room, comfortable bed, great shower. Fridge and microwave. Great breakfast buffet. Walk to wonderful food court place with many options.

Exceptional hotel. Primarily, the staff was professional and courteous with personality. Ricky was outstanding at check-in, Giselle was enjoyable at the wine bar, and Kevin was kind at check-out. Their guest service is a 20/10. I called earlier in the week to ask about arriving early and parking. They were gracious and accommodating, saying we could check into our room if it was ready when we arrived. On arrival, the doorman (shamefully I didn’t get his name) was welcoming, friendly and efficient. The Argonaut is in a great location to see many of San Francisco bay area attractions, all within walking distance. The hotel is clean, quiet and safe, with great hospitality service.

Great service and great breakfast!

For the price and fact that it's a motel, the friendliness and service was great. Breakfast is included and there were lots of good quality options to choose from. My only complaint is there wasn't a blanket in the room in addition to the sheet and bed cover.

The hotel has been completely renovated and is tastefully decorated, cozy, with ample parking, and a g family running it are very lovely people.

Everything was great except parking.

My stay was fantastic. The only negative thing I experienced was that they removed the US flag from its place of honor at the peak of their hotel in order to fly a pride flag in its place. As a veteran whos friends gave their lives for the US and whos coffins were draped with that flag, this was intolerable. There were plenty other places they could and did fly the pride flag. It should never fly in lieu of the Stars and Stripes.

We stayed with our preteen and little guy and it was wonderful. Area felt pretty safe. We had a bay view room and got to watch the lighthouse at Alcatraz at night. Real close to dining, Ghirardelli Square, Fisherman's Wharf and just a couple blocks from the Big Bus station. Breakfasts were good and definitely saved money not paying for that every day! They are strict about the breakfast cutoff.
