A unique place. rebuilt older mansion very nicely done. loved the experience and the caretaker was quite a nice guy. I was travelling on my own and it was so nice to stay in a place that is not just a cookie cutter chain hotel.

The space was perfect for our needs. The mini fridge in the room was very handy, and the shared kitchenette space was a nice touch.
We really enjoyed the mix of vintage and new! The room was right out of central casting, but updated with a really nice shower and sink and TV availability.
It was super close to the downtown of Saranac Lake, and we could walk to a nice hike.

Pulled into the inn, got the key, went to our room which was nice and warm, and watch TV before going to sleep. Check out consisted of dropping the key off and leaving. Simplest and easiest check in, check out I've ever done. Everything was workable and clean without adequate plugs for devices. Coffee, fridge, and microwave were available in room.

The house is a good place to stay if you need ample room and want a quiet retreat in Saranac Lake. Its not on the water but within a short drive of downtown and the lakes. If you have mobility issues this isn’t the place for you as the stairs to the second floor are very steep and there are floor level changes. The house manager should, I think, mark the floor level changes with bright tape because it takes a while to remember where they are. The house is pleasant and cosy and we enjoyed staying...

The lodge is beautiful inside and out and so are the staff. My room was very comfortable and we enjoyed the s'mores and the game room. The staff were very nice and incredibly helpful. I will defenately go back, and highly recommend.
