Drinks at the upstairs bar were wonderful. The whole hotel has undergone a huge transformation. We had dinner in the restaurant was also very pleasant. Big shout out to all the staff-from our check in to our happy hour and dinner all were very friendly and accommodating.

Room clean and comfortable. Nice shower but small. Hallway rug torn in spots. Breakfast doesn't offer a lot. Waffles (only 1 maker so there's a line), an entree like sausage gravy, or eggs and sausage, yogurt, fruit. oatmeal and cold cereal. Pool was cold, ceiling has plaster falling down. Doors ...

Location excellent. Very peaceful. Would go again. Some things being replaced/needed repair (dishwasher, paddleboard, paddleboat) but communication with owners was excellent.

My hometown. Glad to hear of an effort to establish a movie theater again. Used to be a drug store/soda fountain downtown. Would like to see them re-established.
Wonderful town and gorgeous part of the country
Only drawback is that it’s a long noisy walk into the center of town.
A beautiful village, with lots to do and see, lots of eating out options, and close to Lake Placid
Hotel is a considerable walk to/from Downtown Saranac Lake. vehicle transportation is necessary. downtown Saranac Lake is pretty congested with traffic most days...narrow streets. It was easier to drive into lake placid sometimes to get groceries.
