Such an easy check in / check out experience and such a lovely and conscientiously maintained facility. It was so so so so so lovely and I would totally stay here again. Also the cake was really good- they give you cake in your room!!!

We enoyed the doubly “smart” room — both the clean, modern decor and the motion-activated automatic lights for the main stairs (though they take time to come on) and the bathroom (shut the bathroom door when not in use so you don’t trigger those lights when you walk around in your room). Excellent village pub with great staff and atmosphere that matches its surroundings and in keeping with good old inn values. The chef provides a great variety of flavors and quality dishes all served hot and on hot plates. The stairs are somewhat challenging for the elderly and mobility impaired. I didn’t realize when booking that I could have requested a ground floor room. My bad - should have read the small print. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

the free eggs benedict was the best ive ever had, hotel was beautuful and so much charactor, wonderful staff, clean roon, and even offered Netflix!

Just had a single night here but the bed and room were very comfortable. Slept like a baby haha

We loved the executive room. The drive to Haustston beach is short and pleasant. We love the food, especially the fried oyster.

Sue and Clive have a well deserved good reputation. We wanted an immersive English countryside experience in a 400 year old Inn, and that is what we got. A delicious full English breakfast is included in the room price.

It was a really well presented place in the heart of KL. Modern with all the facilities you could want and more, I particularly liked the communal kitchen area. Me and my dog had a lovely relaxing 4 night stay at court yard view. This was our frist time away together. I have only had him for five months. We stayed in pebbles stable. It was very welcoming, clean, warm and cosy. It had everything that was needed. I had very good night sleeps in the comfortable bed.
