Steps from the train station, Gare de Chalone, our check-in was efficient with English and French speaking clerks. Good explanation of facilities, WiFi, spa and restaurant options. Room was exceptionally clean, bathrobes and slippers were welcome after the redeye flight. Great showers and water pressure, climate controls easy to understand. Clean room and friendly staff

Check-in staff was very kind. This was clearly a "3-star hotel", though everything was clean and what I needed for a 1-night stay. Very close to the pedestrian "downtown". <15 min walk to the train station and the big theatre. So a good choice. Critical points: my room was small and 2 people would have been pretty cramped in the room. I found it expensive for what it was and I expected more for the price compared with other hotels in small french cities. Maybe Chalon-sur-Saône is an expensive...

Clean, modern and spacious room

Beautiful chateau, comfortable room, delicious food, and French wine. What more would you need for a true French experience! The hosts are a young couple from Belgium who truly love their chateau and enjoy sharing it with others. He is not only an excellent chef, but does an informative and delightful tour of their vineyards with wine tasting. She maintains the rooms and they are beautiful, cozy, and unique. The restaurant is excellent and try one of the wine tastings to experience the wines produced by the owners--who are very present to ensure the comfort of their guests. You can also tour the vineyards and the winery.

We were on family vacation and this hotel was the best one we stayed. Great location, The room was spacious with amazing bathroom. Excellent service from the staff! I highly recommend this hotel!
