The hotel is quite cool - looks unimpressive from the outside but inside the rooms are very modern and clean. We had 2 rooms on the top floor with skylights which had remote-controlled shades. We were given code access to get in - which was perfect as we arrived early and dropped our bags off. We were lucky to fin street parking just across the street from the hotel. In all our travels we rarely come across a place which delivers on what we want most. Exceptional hospitality, quality of the room and common area, knowledgeable and courteous staff who has already anticipated the needs of a discriminating traveler.

We enjoyed our stay at Giuggiulena Villa! The location is right on the water with a gorgeous view of the Ionian Sea, nearby sea caves, and just a few steps down to access the water for swimming. Sabrina and Claudia are wonderful hosts. They are personable, friendly, and helpful. Claudia is an amazing cook and provides a delicious homemade breakfast. Hands down one of the best places to stay! The property is gorgeous, well-located, and close to everything. What really sets it apart is the staff—they are unbelievably helpful and informative. They took the time to explain the entire city to us with maps and gave us every detail we could possibly need. Plus, the drinks are fantastic, and having a mini bar available was a great touch. 10/10 recommend!

Clean room, friendly staff

A great location and very quiet and unique.

So the truth is we don’t end up staying. Not because the accommodations weren’t lovely and cleanly it was because I didn’t understand that. It wasn’t the whole apartment. It is just a room in the apartment. You do have people staying in the apartment with you as well in one room over just not enough privacy for us, unfortunately. If you’re looking for something like this, though, it would be perfect for you.

It’s a beautiful property. It is about a 10-15 minute drive to downtown Siracusa/Ortigia. It has 2 large pools. The Restaurant at the resort is top notch and the included breakfast is the best in Sicily- absolutely incredible. The staff and owner are very nice and were very accommodating.

We were two couples. Our stay was very pleasant. Gaetano is an excellent host. He lived in Connecticut for many years, so he speaks English.

The Agilia Ortigia Charme Hotel is absolutely superb. Firstly, we were lost in Syracuse, but when we called the hotel to get some guidance, very nice man name Marchello gave us excellent directions and then met us outside the hotel which was a huge help after a long day of driving in Sicily. We absolutely loved Aretusa Vacanze! The room was very cozy and spacious. The owners were there every morning preparing breakfast, and the rest of the family helped manage the B&B beautifully. We especially appreciated Stefano’s dinner recommendations.

WE STAYED AT THIS FACILITY FOR THREE NIGHTS. NINO AND HIS WIFE WERE VERY ATTENTIVE TO ALL OF OUR NEEDS. THE LOCATION WAS IDEAL AND THE ROOMS WERE MODERN AND CLEAN. BREAKFAST WAS IN THE MAIN ROOM WITH FLOWERS AND SUFFICIENT FOOD. WE WOULD STAY HERE ON OUR NEXT TRIP.
