Lots to do within walking distance. From restaurants to the marina with all the beautiful boats. We enjoyed great food and wine during our stay and took the ferry to Montarro and Monterosso for the day. Took the train back. Cinque Terre is easily reachable for day trips from this location.

Great location with gorgeous views and the room had everything we hoped for. The host Daniela was so sweet and welcoming. She is a great resource for figuring out what to see and how to see it. Easy access to cinque terre and the town of La spezia. Outstanding pizzeria right up the hill. Only gripe, make sure to check if the room you are booking has a stand up shower (not just a tub with a spray nozzle).

Third time staying here. It was exactly what we wanted.

(We traveled 9 days in Italy during what locals called the "off season" from March 6th to March 17th, 2015). We traveled from the U.S. 88 Miglia was spectacular. The best view in all of La Spezia. The hike to the hotel took us through a nice neighborhood with cool views. The owners were so nice and welcomed us well. We took the local train to Manarola and Riomaggiore in the Cinque Terre area (very close to La Spezia). We would visit 88 Miglia again!

Nice room in an older building in a residential and business are. the neighborhood is so nice. At nite people walking everywhere and beautiful stores. Many restaurants everywhere. There is a be market around the corner that opens every morning at 5:00 a.m. and at noon they are gone. I was very comfortable and safe there as I traveled solo.

We loved this little hotel on the edge of downtown La Spezia, it has a fantastic location! So close to all of the restaurants and shops. It’s about an easy 20 minute walk to the train station. The host is very friendly and accommodating. Our initial train into La Spezia was delayed multiple times and she was super easygoing about changing the meeting time for us to check-in. She was very informative about both the hotel, La Spezia and Cinque Terra. She recommended a few great restaurants,...

Clean beds. Nice bathroom.

Absolutely Breath taking views and wonderful experience. The only drawback was the climb from our parked car to the room. But the owner was amazing. He spent almost an hour telling us the history and practical ways to enjoy Cinque Terre.

Most comfortable place we have stayed as we travel through Europe. Memory foam mattresses and pillows, very cozy and comfortable feel, attention to every detail and free breakfast at the paticeria. It was great!

Our stay was short since we were wanting to visit the Cinque Terre area for half a day. This room fit our needs perfectly and beyond our expectations. The location was a five minute walk to the train station. This newly renovated room was clean and beautiful. Great shower! Calming decor. There was a safe and refrigerator in the room along with a shared kitchette area. Stefan was responsive, timely and professional. I definitely recommend this hidden gem!

Really enjoyed the stay here. To room was located central to everything. A 25min walk to the train station and 10-15min walk to most restaurants/ bars. Very clean and spacious.
