Travelling alone with a heavy bag, I appreciated the proximity by foot to the train station, though it was tucked away in its own space and greeney and had no noise, traffic, bad air or sketchy characters: a safe, clean, quiet harbor with easy access to town (just on other side of canal and river - a few hundred yards). Very clean, modern functional decor. Good windows, but also AC that you could turn on/off or adjust! I don't overuse at all, but what a relief after trekking around town for...

This is a great little residential hotel very close to the University. (Three blocks away.) The staff is friendly, the rooms are large and comfortable, the wireless is terrific and it is very convenient by bus or 20 minute walk to the center of town (old town). I strongly recommend this hotel for business or pleasure. My two stays there have been a pleasure and memorable!

This is a typical German guest house. It is family run. The desk is only open until 8 pm but check in can be arranged later if you make arrangements. It is an older property that has not been updated. That being said, the WI-FI was great. I did not see an elevator. A BIG bonus is free on site parking. It is slightly outside of town but close enough to walk. If you want an affordable, comfortable stay in this wonderful town, I would recommend it.
