Clean room and nice staff. 7 min walk to food options.

A bit tough to get into late. No front desk. Rooms were fine. Not together. Kids down the hall. Breakfast was terrible, but that seems a B&B thing. Been to several. All terrible.

A very useful stopping point on our journey through France, this modest hotel is reasonably priced and ideally placed for many local restaurants and other facilities. It is clear that work is under way to modernise and update the minor flaws. The rooms and communal facilities are modern and very clean. There is more than ample parking. USP sockets in the rooms would be very useful. I will certainly plan to visit this hotel again.

The staff was great. Breakfast had variety but would have liked something hot to eat for the price. No phone in the room, but everything else fine. Expensive cab ride from Orleans.

This place is lovely. Wonderful shower and comfortable beds with excellent linens. Great breakfast and host. Caution this place is not able to accommodate bicycles.

We spent one night at La Ferme de Marpalu and absolutely loved it! The location is perfect—close to beautiful castles, with plenty of options to hike, explore, and enjoy nature. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful. Ingrid and Jean-Paul are wonderfully warm and welcoming. This is by far the best experience! The host is a master chef & he offers to prepare a gourmet dinner for the guests paired with local wines. We experienced a 3 course meal created with the finest fresh ingredients, many from his garden. This was a 5 star restaurant rating for sure! Top notch place in the heart of medieval neighborhood. Very well modernized, beautiful and conveniently located! On the downside: no elevator (limited accessibility for elder travelers or travelers with special needs), many messages for accessing the property sent on different devices with partial info each time making it confusing to find critical info (some info came via email, other on Expedia and some on WhatsApp).
