So far, the best All Inclusive we'd ever been to, considering the overall atmosphere, nice marina with choices of fishing or whale watching tours, great sandy beach right in front of the hotel (which is very rare thing on Madeira island!), fun evening entertainment, snd a very good choices of food!

This was my second time staying at Cliff bay and it was even more exceptional than the first. The have very low employee turnover so you are remembered which was very nice:-) The food is world class and the accommodations were amazing, I am already planning my next visit!!!

Pestana properties are our 'go to' properties when travelling in Europe. The staff are always super friendly & helpful. Churchill Bay is a lovely authentic fishing village. The hotel has a lovely roof top restaurant. The food was fresh & very well prepared. We stayed 4 nights & dined at the hotel every night. There are many other options but we enjoyed the convenience & birds eye view of the bay's activies at the sunset.

My husband and I stayed four nights and had a very positive experience. The staff was unfailingly friendly and helpful and allowed us to check in early. The hotel has a low density in terms of number of rooms and a relaxing atmosphere was prevalent. The breakfast buffet (included in price) was excellent and provided a good variety of good quality choices. It was lovely fine days full of comfort from the always helpful stuff, gorgeous garden to walk and relax in, and a marvelous cliff overlooking the marina and sea of Funchal. The balcony/terrace was south oriented - full of flowers in pots, with a sunshade, table and chairs - lovely place to take a glass in the evening. The only small minus was a bit of possible noise from neighbour's room, but that wasn't a problem, rather just a notice.

Clean, quiet, and friendly staff! The view could have been better if there was not a big tree infront of the balcony obstructing the ocean view. The A/C was a big plus in the summer. The amenities looked great ( wish they were open later in the night after a long day of hiking, we did not have time to use them during the day) breakfast was very good. Lots of variety! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at editory Ocean Way funchal . The rooms were very comfortable, we got a beautiful balcony with Ocean View that was spectacular. The hotel is definitely a five star . Love the bathrobes and the slippers to be able to go to the spa . Luxurious pool towels were provided. And special call out for Andrea, Mikaela and Sophia at the front desk, and Catarina in the restaurant. We prearranged a number of excursions and they helped us with all the arrangements. Great...

The Hotel had a shuttle to and from the old town of Funchal which was convenient. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. This was the cleanest and most user friendly place that we have stayed at. I would recommend this Hotel to every one .
