Last-minute hotel deals in Gyeongju

We had an amazing stay here. Our hosts were welcoming, friendly and super helpful- even booking taxis for our early morning train trips for us. The Hanok was deliciously warm in the very wintry minus 12 degrees celsius and we were provided food to prepare breakfast each morning including the most fabulous fresh strawberries. Highly recommend a stay here.

The hanok was a lovely place to stay. It was private and quiet. The hanok was spacious and had tons of room to relax. The host responded very quickly and was very accommodating. We were also offered a traditional Korean breakfast that was delivered at the time requested. We would definitely stay here again!

The absolutely BEST place to stay in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang, South Korea! The entire property was spotless clean and extremely comfortable and well maintained room. The location is no more than a 10 mintue walk into "town" and is located directly next to the most adorable coffee and pastry shop. The owner "Sang" could not hae been kinder and more helpful. I would highly encourage a stay at Soyeonjae hanokstay!

Amazing hotel! Such a unique and authentic experience. The room was so spacious and beautiful, with traditional heated floors and high ceilings. Location is unmatched. Breakfast was delicious!

The rooms have Ondol, the Korean traditional heated floor. It was perfact for our cold rainy night. This place is newly remodeled and the owner herself decorated each rooms which look cozy, simple, and feminine. Me and my 4 friends stayed all together instead of 2 separate rooms, and she gave us all separate beddings which was perfact for us. It is at the walking distance to Bulguksa temple and restaurants and cafes are everywhere. We loved the owners hospitality.

It is only three minutes' walk from Gyeongju's most popular place, "Hwangridan-gil," and has provided me with the experience of Korean-style accommodation. The owner was very kind. It was a unique and fun experience for me.

My family's stay at this place was beyond excellent. When we got there, we can immediately tell the property was well taken care of and seemed managed with "love". Yes, I typed, Love. The hotel's location was close to most of the sights and the bus station. Their manner of distributing water and amenities worked great, and reduced our need to request items. Front desk people were generally helpful despite the language barrier (only one spoke English). The breakfast was plentiful l

Location was perfect next to express bus station for our early morning departure. Breakfast good. Walkable to lots of the city highlights Lots of small nice touches in the room. The AC in our room was fan only , couldn’t get it to cool in spite of all the options on the wall and the remote. I asked the front desk two different days. They said they would look into it. I believe they did but cool never came on. With warm but not hot afternoons and cool nights, it was quite manageable.

My advice before the review. Caution taking taxis as to make sure they know where this place is located as I had a bad cab experience and got overcharged because my taxi driver had no idea and could not find and I ended up talking the last 7 minutes to get there when it was clear he did not know.
