*Add photos of the balcony, room, and living area. Traveling from USA. We got the queen size bed standard room.*
HOSPITALITY: Our flight to Crete flew in at 5am. I knew going into it I’d have to wait for check in. The hotel did a great job at reaching out to me prior to landing and communicating with me. They did everything they could to accommodate this early arrival which we appreciated very much. I got in my room around 9:30AM. The man at the front desk was very helpful with getting us taxis...

When I say this hotel is a five star experience, it even feels like an understatement. From the staff to the view and the idyllic environment, The Theodore is perfection. I hesitate to even write a review because I worry it will get overrun with tourists, but not writing it would be a disservice to the hotel. It’s beyond expectations. A perfect place for a quiet beach stay.
Thank you Theodore!!!

We visited the Resort off season (mid-october) and did not reap its benefits. The resort located in Agia Marina (15km from Chania Town). The resort is split into two sections (across the road) and connected via overpass. The section closer to the beach has rooms with individual swimming pools, separate breakfast buffet, underground parking lot with elevator. The section across the road has much larger buffet, all hotel services such as concierge, spa, shops, conference rooms, hotel rooms... Both...

Fun hotel with great staff and team. There is no hot tub- It’s been closed “since Covid”… but still listed in the booking. Also Extra charge not mentioned in the booking for beach loungers and umbrellas. Pools were great. Food was very good. The Booking page offers this hotel “on the beach” but there is a two lane road for tour busses and other traffic between the hotel and the beach, so we think it is across the road from the beach. Also the beach is rocky not sandy. We had A Great stay and...

absolutely brilliant. In a big hot spot area of Platanias with a bust beach and restaurant area. Don’t listen to any of the negative reviews. The place was spotless, ability to stream your netflix and youtube. Great deck, giant bathroom and the breakfast was incredible and delicious!! If they had a pool area near jacuzzi it would be absolutely top notch! What a great gem to stumble upon! Staff exceptionally friendly and they actually knew they were a VIP access hotel. Most don’t or don’t care!...

Super nice staff. Very quite place, and there's a grocery store right across the street. However, It seemed that I was the only one guest due to the off-season

Everything was nice about this hotel. We were happy to find a place that would accommodate a group of five. Two bedrooms were comfortable and each room has an AC.
The hotel has a small pool but we never used it as the sea is right there and the water is clean and pleasant.
The cafe is absolutely charming and serves good food.
The owner of the hotel, Sophia, was very kind and provided us with all the information we needed in terms of places to visit, how to get there, etc.
