My partner and I stayed at Sugar Bay for 5 nights and it was such a wonderful experience. The staff are amazing and truly made the stay exceptional. Although this is a kid friendly resort, we never had any issues with kids running around or being excessively loud. The general experience was quite good, the hotel menu selection was ok. and service quite good. The public transportation was quite easy and accessible. . However,there was a misunderstanding on the package booked. Although my party consists of (4) four person, however, the breakfast was only available to (1) one person. This was not made clear when the booking was made. we discovered this the day we checked in.. This was very dissappointing ..

I booked this stay to surprise my partner for his birthday. I had several special requests that I made for our restaurant reservation as well as our room set-up and the response every time was “of course no problem”. The host and property were welcoming and ready to accommodate our stay. A taxi driver was arranged in order to navigate our way around the island. Breakfast was copiously prepared as requested and minor details throughout the trip were cared for. Thank you to the hots!

From the moment we checked in (on our honeymoon) until we left 6 days later our experience was awesome. The general manager took the time to learn our name, greet us upon arrival and again as we left. Fellow guests were all friendly. My rental car's battery died and they took care of everything while we were off playing golf. The food, especially daily breakfast, was fabulous. All needs were anticipated without request necessary. All-in-all, a great trip (I highly recommend Barbados as well).

Well spent four days, very relaxing if you are looking for time away from the hustle. Will definitely be returning with the family.

This is one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I honestly can’t think of one thing they could improve upon. The grounds are stunning and the decor is spot on. The food was fantastic and the service impeccable. And the hotel offers all sorts of complementary amenities such as tea time, boating and snorkeling. As well there are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Staying here is a must!

A well-maintained property with clean rooms, great pool and a very nice beach, with helpful staff that are happy to set up sun beds with towels and shade. There is drink service at the beach although a bit slow. However, there is cold drinking water available via self-serve all the time. One important tip - the beach is divided into three by barrier rocks. Of the three sections, the one furthest away from the towel cabana has best ocean floor - with almost no rocks. The property was more than I expected for the price I paid. Mark the owner is a very friendly and accommodating individual. Communication was extraordinary, he made sure that taxi service was available throughout my trip. George who was my driver was very kind, he went above and beyond to make sure my stay was memorable. The property is centrally located, especially for Oistins. It is located off Lodge Road, so it’s on a bus route with buses readily available for going to Bridgetown and surrounding areas. The host was impeccable. Wi-Fi was reliable and consistent.

I recently traveled to Barbados early June for my birthday. The hotel staff was very warm and friendly; they checked in on my friends and I daily and gave us great advice of places to visit, places to eat and booked a catamaran excursion for us that picked us up and dropped us off. Rosie at reception is amazing!! She was funny and sweet and even gave a a bottle of wine on my Birthday!
