The best hotel I have ever stayed at. The animal life AT the hotel itself is fantastic. I have never seen so many hummingbirds and butterflies. Troops of monkeys, both Howlers and Capuchins come through the property daily; right to the edge of the two pools, and for viewing from the private decks of each jungle facing room. El Mangroove is a modern, beautiful property located on a very calm bay with great sunset views. The area is very peaceful - a perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff could not be nicer or more attentive. They went out of their way to entertain our kids, make sure we were comfortable and taken care of, etc. Food was delicious. I wish we could have stayed longer. It's only about 20 minutes to Liberia airport.

The hotel is beautiful place full of trees, plants and birds. It is situated right in front of the beach which provides a wonderful and calming experience in Costa Rica. I will start off by saying we have been to a lot of All Inclusive resorts from smaller to the larger multi complex resorts. We've always booked great review "5 star resorts" This one hit on every single item we look for in an all inclusive vacation. T Loft at Playa Hermosa was an amazing experience for me. It was my first time traveling to Costa Rica alone and I was a bit nervous before the trip but that all went away as soon as I arrived. Great amenities and hospitality!!

It’s a beautiful place to visit. The view is amazing, the food is actually great. My only displeasure was they didn’t have tv BUT that just means you’ll have more reason to connect with family, wife/husband or what ever friends you came with.

When we arrived there was a hiccup at airport / rental car. I was very concerned but called Thisbee. She calmed me, explained options, and was a trusted colleague. The owners went well above their “jobs” to assure our stay was perfect, and it was.

This property is beautiful especially for the price. Staff was very accommodating and quick to help. The large ceiling to floor windows provide an absolutely amazing view. Beds are comfortable. Food was good! Beautiful hotel grounds and easy beach access with lounge chairs. Staff is happy to help.

We love this hotel. It is a short walk to the beach, offers great facilities and had a great restaurant, all at a very reasonable nightly rate. During our stay the hotel had live music several nights. No worries about what to do, the hotel can arrange excellent tours to meet every desire. We loved the staff. They were very friendly, always helpful, knowledgeable, and treated us like family. Villa del Sueno will be our go to stay for a mid winter break in the future.

Wonderful owner and his family cared for us during our stay in this wonderful hand crafted place with beautiful woodwork and friendly caring staff. Room was nice, clean and beds were comfortable. Service and food were excellent and the staff were very helpful with ideas about fun things to do in the area. Definitely want to come back soon and spend more time!

This is a great hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We used the pool several times. The room was very comfortable and the air conditioning was a nice perk. You are a 20 minute walk to the main city center. I would highly recommend listening to the advice of the hotel staff and walk along the beach. The walk along the road would not be recommended, especially at night. This property is a good value for your money. I would stay here again.
