We have stayed here before but first time in the premier lounge i can say it was a wonderful experience , we were upgraded to a great room ! service was great , breakfast was great even though it was full .

It’s a very unique spot to experience not only the local culture but people from all around the globe. Management was incredible, very attentive, flexible, kind and informative. My husband and I stayed only one night but we’ll like to come back with our kids so that they may also enjoy the unique experience.

The property was fantastic! The staff was hands down the friendliest and so happy to help with anything. Our favorite bartender is Edwin, at the swim up bar...his fellow bartenders at the swim up bar were the kindest people. All the staff were excellent. Only thing is Hilton just bought this property from Dreams. During the change over process it is NOT an adult only property. Till old Dreams client reservations are honored; there will be children on property. Shows, food, grounds everything was excellante! The scuba boats and equipment looks brand new.

I traveled to Bayahibe for scuba diving, and hotel el Pulpo was 10 minutes away from the beach by walking. There is a shortcut to scuba caribe where I did my dive and excursion. I had an awesome stay, all the staff was super nice and I didn't have any problems. Especially the front desk lady was very kind serving fresh coffee every morning. Our recent stay was very relaxing and enjoyable. The majority of the staff was attentive and polite. The breakfast buffet was good, lunch buffet was sufficient, and the dinner buffet was great. The beach area was nice but definitely not suggested if this is one of the main things that you are looking for. The water is murky and no waves at all. This property was clean, modern, the staff very friendly, and the free breakfast out of this world. We ate in the restaurant one night as well and the food was good and well priced but the waitstaff was phenomenal!!! GREAT service. Thank you Amelia and Angel Jesus!!!

Pool area is very nice

Relaxing and spa-like boutique hotel within the Catalonia Gran Dominicus complex. Beautiful grounds and the staff was ABSOLUTELY wonderful. Top shelf drinks and fine dining within the “ROYAL” hotel. You have the option of going to Catalonia Gran Dominicus for swimming, activities, and additional dinning option (Buffet etc..) However-we spent most of our time in the “Royal” hotel and loved the experience.

I want to keep this hidden jewel a secret but it would not be fair. I travelled with a co-friend and we stayed here for 4 nights. The property is tucked away but opens up to a beautiful villa. Our rooms both included a bathroom and were very large and gave us space to be comfortable. We enjoyed having a kitchen and a common area to listen to music and play games. Staff is friendly and respectful. Safe environment inside hotel. Variety of food for all tastes and preferences included. The pool area has a beautiful view. It is amazing around sunset especially. Highly recommend staying here!
