Spring break hotels in Taupō

Very friendly and attentive host. Impeccable service. Clean and spacious rooms. Wonderful dinner in the B & B: Go for it. It costs 70 Dollars and it is worth every penny!

It is a bit of a hike if you want to walk to town, but the accommodations were wonderful. Great view, and could hear waves lapping the lake at night. Very nice.

The woman at the front desk (Sharon) was the nicest person I have ever spoken to in my life. I called the day before my check-in as I was planning to arrive later than when the front desk was open (they close at 9pm) and she was so pleasant and sweet on the phone. She gave me detailed instructions on how to get what I needed upon arrival to get into my room and where to park on the premises. I loved my stay at the Cottage Mews Motel. I don’t think I would change a thing. The amenities were great, there’s a kitchenette with a small stove and a sink and plenty of dishes if you plan to cook or want to reheat anything. The spa was amazing with very clear instructions. The WiFi was pretty good too. To add on the room was very homey and cute. I would for sure stay again!

Maggie was especially friendly and helpful. She upgraded us since we were staying two nights. The place was very spacious and amenities were good. Very comfortable.

Kasia was very pleasant and a more than helpful host. She offered us an upgraded apt unit upon arrival that had a view of the lake. She also provided us a Firestick for the TV so we could enjoy some well missed Netflix and AppleTv shows during our travels. The apt unit was roomy and super clean with no clutter and had all the amenities needed. We enjoyed the heated spa but didn’t get a chance to enjoy the pool or tennis courts during our stay. What an absolute pleasure to stay at Lake Taupo Lodge. This stylish boutique lodge has a fantastic retro appeal and lake views. We stayed in the Cherrywood suite which was clean, cozy and roomy. The attention to detail is a highlight. I wished we had stayed longer to enjoy the gardens and patios. Breakfast was homecooked and 5 star! Hosts Gary and Shirley were lovely and helpful.

Great room with a fantastic lake view. If you don't want stairs, ask for a 1st floor room. We were on the 2nd floor and it was beautiful, but we left our big suitcases in the car. The kitchen is well stocked with plates, pans, etc and it is a full kitchen. Great location- also has a guest laundry and a grill area you can use.

The room was just what we needed. We were able to cook dinner. The bed was comfortable.

Was in a great location and very peaceful. Loved the spa tub and warm comfy room. Good quality Antipodes hand and bodywash. Only downsides were not enough toilet paper (half a roll) and no bathroom fan to clear mirror.

We had a 1 BR apt on the ground floor next to the road. With the BR in the rear traffic noise was not a problem for sleeping. There is a great view of Lake Taupo across the road and watching the sunsets was great. The management was excellent and had lots of suggestions on what to do and where to eat and shop. Free laundry was a plus and managemnet even moved our laundry from washer to dryer when we were a little late getting back. Would definitely stay here again. Dining and shopping nearby...

The most friendly and personable staff we've ever met. It made the stay so much more enjoyable than large corporate hotels.
