Spring break hotels in New Zealand

I booked this hotel based on reviews only. I went to Yelp and Expedia for reviews before I booked it. The room they gave me is quite spacious. The bed is comfortable and clean. The bathroom, although the shampoo was not coming out of the bottle, when I messaged them if they could check it, they did within 30 minutes, also clean. The location is very convenient, and the property has been newly renovated. The interior is clean, modern, and stylish. The staff were friendly and even offered us vouchers for local activities, which was a lovely surprise. There were only two minor drawbacks. First, in our room type, all the bedrooms were upstairs while the only toilet was downstairs, which was a little inconvenient, especially at night. We had a very good stay made better by customer service getting us a shower mat for my husband who has trouble walking. They upgraded us to a higher floor which had a fantastic view. Top notch!

Just one night - everything was great. Great view, great service, great room. Everything works in that hotel, fires on all cylinders. Only negative was a bit of noise from the street later into the night.

We found our stay and the Maxim to be beyond a 5⭐️ experience. Staff was friendly, attentive, and super helpful. Facilities were immaculate.. Can’t say enough good things about the Maxim.

The newest hotel of the three in the chain at Sky City. Absolutely beautiful hotel. We saved the best for last. Accommodations were outstanding. Front desk stored on luggage on the last day b/c we had a late flight. Even offered us to use the workout facility to shower before we left for the airport-a first for me. The Grill Restaurant at the hotel food and service gets a 5 star rating. Ir is now my place to stay in Auckland.

The property seemed very new. Clean, bright, comfortable with nice extras— a free pass to the fitness center just a few yards away, free laundry services. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. When we ordered a birthday breakfast for the room, the staff cam up singing ‘Happy Birthday’ with a piece of cake , candles and ice Cream. Ludi at the front desk was especially helpful. The food at the restaurant/room service was very very good.

This is a first-class urban hotel. Rooms comfortable and well-appointed. Good location. Excellent food choices. Great value. All good.

Staff were accommodating on our arrival as we arrived half an hour before check in. We did offer to wait about or go for a walk but our room was ready and we were able to check in. Parking was convenient and we enjoyed a lovely walk down to the train station.

First time visitor, we chose the Hotel Indigo Auckland for its central location. It’s a five minutes walk to Queens Street where all the shopping can be found, including high end stores. Also the short walk to the central ferry for excursions to the various islands. We opted for a high floor room with a spectacular view of the harbor and quiet from city noise. Stayed for one night on a road trip through. It doesn't look like much but the room was great. Very spacious, had a fridge, kitchen, kettle, dining table, couch...and everything was spotless. Owners do a really nice job with the rooms.

It was not made clear what in the Kitchenette was included and what was a charge. Did not make coffee or tea because of this. The sky bus to the airport stopped right outside the front door. This was very convenient. The view was great. Sky tower was changed to green for St Patrick’s Day weekend. Staff was friendly and helpful.
