We had a great stay in the Hotel Fazenda, the facilities and the surroundings are beautiful, nice breakfast with ingredients sourced locally but best of all was the attention from Daniel managing the property, he arranged for our kids to visit and interact with the farm animals, they loved the experience, they are asking to come back for another stay!

Had a wonderful stay at Quinta da Paz resort. The hotel is in the hills of the Itaipava area of Petropolis and while close to the center also feels like a nice retreat. Quinta da Paz is truly a resort, on a large beautiful piece of property with a gorgeous pool. There is even a small nature hike on the resort. The trip was truly a refreshing break from the hustle and bustle of Rio de Janeiro.
