Spring break hotels in Reykjavik

The apartment was spectacular and exactly as advertised. Location was very handy to the airport and Keflavik but quiet enough to feel remote. A fantastic place to watch the Northern Lights over Faxaflói Bay from a hot tub.

The only thing I did not like was the church bell across the street that rings every 15 minutes, but the hotel provides ear plugs. They were a great help.

Elli and Runa were amazing. Before our arrival. They already checked to see when we will arrive to prepare the place. Since we were arriving early. They graciously took in our luggages so we can go to the lagoons and enjoy the day without having to have our car full of luggages. The place was exceptionally clean with all kinds of goodies. Very close to the airport within 5 minutes. We truly enjoyed our stay there. We will definitely book with them again if we return to Iceland.

I had the most enjoyable stay at Eyja Guldsmeden! A very clean hotel with excellent service! The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the location of the hotel is very convenient. Special thanks to Laura who was super nice and helpful with dining recommendations! Will be back!

Great place to stay. Great food, close to the airport, and in a quiet, scenic part of the country, away from the city.

Super friendly checkin even tho we were late, gorgeous views. Not much within walking distance, but all other ways EXCELLENT!

My husband, son (1 year), and I stayed here in November. The studio had a wonderful bathroom with a towel warmer! Believe me, you will want it. Great kitchenette and comfy beds. The hotel provides FREE milk, juice, and cereal for your stay. Oh, and tons of free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate for FREE! The staff was very friendly. The owner and staff were very accommodating and extremely helpful. They also went out of their way to make sure any questions we had were answered. Parking was free, great complimentary breakfast. Property is about a 40 minute drive from the airport, 15 min walk from the center of town. They really care about their business here. Support local small businesses. They truly care.

Amazing view on the balcony!

The property was beautiful. Updated, and the staff is very friendly. There was no parking, so that got a little pricey if you wanted to park close to the hotel, but I think that’s the norm in Reykjavík. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone coming to Iceland.

Clean, cozy, beautiful, well located hotel! Above all, the hotel staff was super kind and helpful. They helped us immediately when we had issues finding the bus back to the airport, and solved our problem and our stress of missing our flight. For us that was service above expectations and we are so greatful. I will always recommend staying here!! Thank you!

My stay at Alda & Iceland itself was wonderful. As a solo traveler I felt safe at the hotel & the front desk staff was very helpful as well as friendly! Room was cute & clean. They provided a coffee maker & mini fridge which I stored some items from the Bonus store 2 mins away. I was sad to leave.

Perfect location to walk around Reykjavík. Lots of food options, shops and bars on the same street. The hotel staff is friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Everyone on-site spoke English and gave advice. It is street parking which you have to pay for, it is free after 6PM though.

The house is fantastic. Very nicely decorated with all amenities. Beautiful view of Reykjavik and a convenient drive to all of its sights. The owner Sigi is very welcoming and helpful. Can't ask for anything more!

The Canopy was a wonderful place to stay. The hotel is beautiful and the staff were all helpful and friendly. It’s located in a spot that is within walking distance to just about everything in Reykjavik. I’d definitely go back!

Can be loud, but the windows are pretty sound-resistant. Just keep them fully shut!

I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful. The rooms were elegant, comfortable and cozy. The breakfast buffet each morning was fabulous with lots to choose from, including smoked salmon, local cheese and fresh bread made at the bakery next door. These apartments are very centrally located - convenient to dining, shopping, grocery and attractions. The apartment itself was absolutely lovely - clean, well decorated, included basics like Salt & Pepper, coffee as well as niceties, like bathrobes. Our host graciously upgraded us from a studio to a one bedroom that was available and we had plenty of space - which was great for the final pack to fly home the next day. It was really nice to have off street parking and a lovely balcony.
