"We had an amazing stay at Milam. From the moment we pulled up in our taxi to then seeing the property and then our room - our jaws dropped over and over again. "We stayed for two nights. The accommodation is excellent, but we were not aware that it is a rental rather than a hotel. Therefore there was nobody available to check us in and had we not spoke Spanish, would have been in a difficult situation. "The place is brilliant. I think this is the one of the best hotels I have stayed in my life. You will have you own suite with backyard, and I especially like the outdoor shower. However, the location is terrible. It's far away from the center city and taking a taxi is really expensive in Tulum. If you don't mind taking a cab every day back and forth to the tourist resort, go with it for sure. It's like 20 bucks at least for any one-way trip. "

"24 hour guard at property. We left property several times to grab a bite to eat, which everywhere we ate was fabulous and tasty. Prices very reasonable. The bar at intima was great. A swim up bar and places to sit outside the pool. Room was nice, digital entry with a safe inside. Only downside was it is not close to the beach. "I read all the reviews and thought oh let me just see for myself well to start no hot water the hot tub was a cold tub the pool was dirty the bathroom were dirty the dishwasher leaks the stove upstairs was mot working it took them 4 days out of the 5 to come and fix it and still did not not fix it the worst place I have ever rented a waste of time and money because you can’t even enjoy what you paid for "

And a special thank you to Ara and Eugene (the hotels concierge) - for being so kind and helping us with practically everything hah. They found us taxi's, offered recommendations and overall were so kind and considerate. Also - special shout out to Paolo from the restaurant and pool server. She was so kind, so lovely and made me never want to leave the pool. Overall I would highly recommend Milam!"
