"House is located right on the river only about 10 feet from than banks. Fishing is excellent right out the front porch. While somewhat small the house is in excellent shape and was great for my wife and I. I would be careful if i had small kids as the house is very close to the water. Everything was as advertised and you can’t beat the price for the location. Check in was a breeze and we had absolutely no issues at all. Would stay here again for sure."

"Wonderful location and short walking distance to the platinum chair lift and Main Street. The deer ate nuts and berries from our hands from both porches each morning and evening. Cabin had everything we needed with beautiful views. This was our second time to stay here in the Rio Rojo cabin while skiing and we will certainly be back!"

"There were a few issues during our stay with appliance and electrical but they were resolved very quickly. Everyone was professional and kind during the interaction as well. The cabin itself is amazing perfect for a family get away. The location is perfect close to shops, restaurants. I would absolutely stay here again."

"Visited during last week of April/first week of May. Red River was not busy at all and the cabin was a perfect retreat for peace and quiet! Host was receptive to our pets (thank you) and everything was perfect!! Comfortable sleeping arrangements and cabin had everything we needed and more! "It was larger than we had originally expected. The hot water gets very hot and stayed hot whenever we needed it. The king size bed is quite firm. The pans are not nonstick, so they’re less easy to clean. All the appliances worked as they should. Kitchenware is all there available. It was a nice stay. We did enjoy it."

"Cozy, comfy, and wonderful location in between Taos Ski Valley village and the upper Ski Valley. My children loved the table tennis and darts on the bottom floor, and the loft bedroom. We loved the convenient kitchen, comfortable bed, and windows on the main floor. We hope to visit again!"

"The location of the lodging could not have been better. We were able to be on and off the slopes in minutes. The lodging was cozy. The staff was easy to communicate with by text or phone. They responded quickly and made everything easier. Only issues were the cabin wasn’t cleaned well and had belongings that the previous family left. Also the cabin is very creaky which is to be expected to an extent. Overall I couldn’t be happier with the stay."

"Little Fanny is such a cute cabin. Everything has been renovated and updated including the furniture. We stayed in late June so there was no need for heat. The living room has a ceiling fan, and it stayed quite nice downstairs. The stairs leading to the two bedrooms are very steep and narrow. There are no ceiling fans in the bedrooms and no other fans provided. The upstairs gets very warm. We slept with the windows open. It was ok but still a little uncomfortable temperature wise. "Everything about this property was wonderful, the only problem if I was to say, there was a problem would be that when we got there the hot tub was very cloudy and by the second day, it was not looking very good so we didn't get a lot of use out of it."

A wonderful and unique place to stay
"This wonderful hotel is unique and historic. Built in 1911 the second floor was converted to a hotel. To appreciate its charm you should understand there won’t be an elevator and rooms will vary in size and layout. There won’t be a lobby but there is a door off the side street with a number to call. Don’t worry, they are quick to come and incredibly friendly and eager to accommodate. The bed was very comfortable and at the end of the hall is a game room with a pool table. This is where you can get breakfast at anytime. Again, this is a historic building so don’t expect the breakfast buffet found in chain hotels. Antiques fill the decor with charm in the hall and rooms. Across the street are two Mexican restaurants that offer affordable and delicious meals. You will be only a block away from the house where Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade was filmed and there’s a fantastic excursion train that leaves from town. I will be back for a longer stay next time. "
