Great stay without the commotionPosted Oct 10, 2014
We enjoyed the divi resort it has plenty to do if that's what you like, I personally love the beach and the divi for me has the best beach in Aruba.,not overcrowded like the high rise side of the island.

Nice hotelPosted Sep 21, 2014
Second time going to Divi Golf Resort, love this place. Lot's of pools, friendly staff, beautiful beach, 1 bedroom suite is very spacious. Loved it! And you also have access to go to all the Divi resorts. (Sundays stores close early for some reason, so don't expect to go out and shop)

Great Hotel; close to the beach.!!Posted Sep 16, 2014
Pros: The location and the friendly staff.
Cons: The Internet and the TV reception. The Internet would come and go while the TV reception was not that great.
Location: The location to the beach and bus transportation was great. We were also able to visit the other DIVI locations.
This was my first visit to Aruba and I am glad I chose the Divi Dutch Golf & Beach Resort. The hotel staff was very friendly and we were able to check in one hour earlier. During the 12 days that we stayed, we had one incident. I was in bed with my girlfriend relaxing one afternoon and the maintenence crew wanted to spray the room for bugs. We were in teh bedroom and did not hear them when they knocked. They came into the room and saw us in bed. Needless to say we were very upset. The management sent us a bottle of wine with their apologies. Houskeeping was good, however, could be improved by being consistent. A couple of days I had to ask for clean towels and in one instance, I had to request that the trash be taken out .

Across from the beachPosted Aug 24, 2014
They tried to give me a room with a broken door, which I found out by walking over and meeting the former tenants . They said they complained each day until they moved them. The clerk at the desk tried to say my room wasn't ready yet because of housekeeping. If I hadn't investigated I would have had a room with a broken door that was fixed with duct tape by the occupant, not maintenance. They are stingy with towels and the bath towels are small. Although I didn't have dinner there, the food was just ok. The beach huts should be moved closer to the water, as you can smell the fumes from the road. Security is lax- never saw a guard nor any cameras. The rooms are cleaned everyday and the pools and outside is maintained regularly.

Divi Village & Golf ResortPosted Aug 18, 2014
Hotel was fine. Close to the beach. Pools were nice. Atmosphere of area was good. I booked this independently thru Expedia. I was not expecting the "Time Share" beat down when I got there. Everything around there is a Time Share including the Divi Golf Resort. I think everything on Aruba is a Time Share. Everything was fine but if you are not interested in the Time Share beat down...don't answer the phone in the room!

Nice accommodations with kitchenette.Posted Aug 7, 2014
Pros: The accommodations were great. Other areas of the resort may have been even better. Good location, good maid service and bell hops.
Cons: Faster internet service, more stations at check-in, better management at Sea Breeze restaurant.
Location: Close to downtown, marinas, casinos, live music, supermarkets, and events, tours happening to the north.
The facilities were great. Easy access to the beach, immediately across the road. Maid service and bell hops were on top of their game. Checking in was very slow. Service at Sea Breeze restaurant was slow and inattentive, so we ate in the room (kitchenette, PTL :) ). Internet really sucked ... slower than dial-up at times. Remember that? But it was free. We used taxies a lot. It was expensive. However, with no exception, they were the most intelligent, engaging people in that profession I have ever encountered.

We didn't want to leave. Best vacation ever.Posted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: EVERYTHING. We didn't have a clue that this hotel had a waterslide, which was a great surprise for the kids. Also, Mulligan's restaurant is amazing!
Cons: More hotels in Aruba should be all inclusive, but it makes sense that it is not all inclusive because in each room there is a fully equipped kitchen.
Location: There are 4 pools, waterslide, and steaming hot jacuzzi. There is a white sand crystal blue water beach across the street with great water activities.
Where do I start. The supermarket (Ling and Sons) is nearby, so when in need for food, we took the shuttle bus and then walked a few minutes. The price of the food is a bit more expensive, but that is since all the food is imported. The shuttle bus is accessible throughout the day from Divi Dutch all the way to Alhambra Casino and the drivers are very nice. The hotel is extremely nice and it is being renovated, so it'll be even better. Even though it is ALWAYS windy, you will get a sunburn and it is still very hot. Although the beach is across the street, this hotel has the biggest beach out of all the Divi resorts since its hotel is across the street. The water is crystal blue and there are water activities such as the tube rider. I love Aruba. With a group of five kids, Aruba and the hotel itself was extremely safe and trustworthy to let them walk alone. The island and residents of it are kind. The island is very small but taxis come in handy. They are reasonably priced and some drivers are very knowledgeable. This hotel is right in the middle of downtown and high rise which are two very live and popular areas. Overall, it was a very memorable experience; a week was not enough!!! We will definitely return. We LOVE Aruba! <3

Nice hotel close to beachPosted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: close to beach and free entertainment, access to all Divi properties entertainment
Cons: staff friendliness
Location: beaches and easy access to downtown and highrise hotels (opposite way from downtown) by bus or taxi, free entertainment downtown
Watch out for the birds during meals but close to beach and lots of free entertainment, staff could be friendlier
