"Location was perfect. Walking down to the beach every morning and having coffee on the pier was exactly what I was looking for. Place was stocked with everything you need for the beach, beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, frisbee. Only thing I missed was a bbq. There is a big deck downstairs but no bbq. Minor thing, really, but missed it. Great view for the sunset, dipping behind Catalina Island. Well stocked with towels, and everything you need in the kitchen. Thank you."

Just to name a few: courtesy call confirming we are planning to stay two days before (because there is a charge if cancelled less than 24 hours), free shuttle to/from the airport, shuttle (with small fee) to the cruise terminal which took the hassle out of calling an Uber, close to the beach and stores, hot breakfast, easy check in/check out, clean and open layout rooms. "I enjoyed the location and room was comfortable and clean. Only thing is I wish I knew the room I booked was in another building entirely not connected to the main hotel. The only way there was to walk down PCH and into a parking garage to go upstairs. This kind of took us by surprise along with the parking fee which seemed a bit excessive.
