"Directly on the lake, you can walk out onto your own private peninsula, fish (I caught two bass in ten minutes), or just enjoy the lounge chairs or couples swing while gazing at the pristine lake or soaking up the fire we made in the brand new fire pit. "Very cute cozy and comfortable spot! Close to Lane George but also secluded enough to enjoy! We stayed for Columbus day weekend and it was definitely the end of the season. The pool area looked fun and welcoming but was closed already (which is ok it was too cold anyways). We were one of few people on the property and felt like it was very dark and not maintained but with our flashlights we were fine. The cabin was clean comfy and cozy we popped the breaker a few times turning heaters on but...

"The cabin was perfect venue for our stay at Gore Mountain. The home was extremely clean with no detail left unturned, including gift baskets in the bathrooms and complementary wine for new visitors. The property was just private enough and perfect for our furry baby who enjoyed the woods every day. "We had a wonderful stay. The property was lovely. It was well kept, clean and organized. It felt peaceful. The only thing I would suggest is to add to the listing that though pets are welcome they aren't allowed to be left unattended in the cabin. This is certainly understandable since some people don't train their pets. However, not being able to do so limited what we could do on a few days. Also listing a puppy day care in the welcome binder as an option for days renters would like to venture...

"We booked this cabin for a quick trip to the mountains before we move to California in May and it was above and beyond anything we could have imagined! My boys loved the loft, hammock, hot tub, and all the board games! It was quiet and secluded but close enough to Lake George where we could go explore! We had such a great stay and are so thankful to have found such a beautiful cabin!"
