Pick a different hotel

Posted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Everything
Location: A lot to do near by, but I was there for business.
This hotel is old. Rooms are dirty. Perhaps have bugs too. I will never stay here again and question if I will stay ever stay at another La Quinta.

The room has roaches and mosquitoes

Posted Apr 9, 2015
Cons: almost everything.
The room has roaches and mosquitoes, the window was going out of the frame and all noise from outside came in. The bathroom lamp/ventilator made a horrendous noise, No option in first floor and no elevator in the building. The free breakfast was terrible with all prepacked food tasting terrible. Not a recommended hotel for kids.

Ok Hotel

Posted Mar 28, 2015
Pros: Beds were ok.
Cons: Update the rooms. Although the carpeting APPEARED clean, was very dated and worn as was the rest of the room. Toilet/shower area was VERY small.
Location: Several eating establishments, small shopping mall
Older facility. Rooms ok but dated. A/C didn't work very well. Clean but older features in room (carpet, décor, etc.). VERY small toilet and shower area-barely had room to shut the door to use the facilities. Noisy fan in bathroom. Size of room was good for a double. Contained a desk, two beds, closet, dresser, nightstand between beds and TV. Husband said breakfast offerings were sparse and lacked hot items. Recommend purchasing water to drink because the water tasted terrible from the faucets. Location convenient to several eating establishments and a small shopping mall strip. Easy to get to because on one of the main roadways. Had outdoor pool and access to rooms was from outside (not hallway within the hotel.) Did not see a workout room. Parking area was small and sometimes crowded because shared it with diner adjacent to hotel.

Cons: Check room air conditioners. Think about adding an air port shuttle.
The room air conditioner didn't work and the wall thermostat was falling off.

So-So Stay

Posted Mar 4, 2015
Overall the stay was acceptable. Two issues I ran into were the bathroom was not cleaned well when I returned on back to the room on my second day (the tub was not cleaned as I found hair inside the tub from where I showered that morning) and the day of checkout when I came down to get breakfast they closed it earlier than I had been told the day of check-in. When I asked if I could get a milk I was told no. As I was checking out, another Guest asked and they got him a milk and a danish. When I went back and asked the staff member why I couldn't have one, she just smiled and said breakfast was over, and that he was a paying Guest, I wasn't. If you're just there for the room it's an OK thing. If you're there hoping for quality service, don't bother. You won't get it.
